The most interesting QB takes Vandy to school It literally felt like there was a 12th man on the field on Saturday as A&M rolled past vandy as Johnny football had a career day with a combined 419 yards alone. Manziel rushed the ball 17 times for 95 yards and 3 TD's while going 32-34 through the air for 324 and 2 more scores. He was later penalized for doing a Heisman trophy stance in the face of Vandy coach Thirdalarm who rushed on the field to kick his ass, but Manziel scrambled away from him too. Final score TA&M wins by a score of 38-19.

CAUGHT OFF GUARDUNC pulls the upset on #4 Georgia, 28-24! Huge game for both sides. A very disappointing season thus far for the North Carolina Tar Heels. They came into this game with 3 losses and had just been bounced out of the #24 spot last week. Georgia being ranked #4 was in National Title contention. It probably won't happen now as they will need some big things to shake up within the college football landscape. The Georgia Bulldogs dominated the first quarter and had North Carolina on the ropes. Sticking to their guns, the UNC offense got on the board with a TJ Thorpe TD which brought the game within 7, 14-7. Georgia would capitalize on a broken coverage that resulted in multiple missed tackles as Malcolm Mitchell took it 76 yards to put the Dawgs on top, 21-7. Not to be outdone, the Tar Heels declared a state of emergency and brought the game back to within 7 as Quinshad Davis grabbed a TD from Bryn Renner. With under 50 seconds and 3 timeouts, the cool, calm and collected Aaron Murray would march his Georgia Bulldog offense down the field to notch 3 and end the half at 24-14. North Carolina's coach poured his guts out to the team during half time. Letting them know, his ass was on the line. A win against the #4 Georgia Bulldogs could turn things around. Recruits might tune back their minds to the thought of the Carolina Blue, Navy and White. The fans and AD might ease up. The players, on an emotional high, went out and played a miraculous 2nd half. Adjusting defensively as well as offensively. We did what was needed. Shut the defense out and score 14 unanswered points. A step in the right direction for a lost coach and program. North Carolina wins 28-24 as time expired on the Bulldogs. Great game BG and good luck getting to Atlanta! vs 14 - 34 Crimson Tide "Smokes" Volunteers for Another Year The Volunteers traveled to Bryant Denny in Tuscaloosa looking to reignite the spark in the series know as The Third Saturday in October and break the strangle hold that the Crimson Tide has held over them the last 6 years. But unfortunately for the Tennessee faithful that made the trek Tuscaloosa, this year was no going to be the year for that spark. The Crimson Tide took the opening kick off and drove 80 yards for the games first TD. And that continued to be the theme of the day as the Crimson Tide just physical beat the Volunteer defense and kept the game plan basic. The Crimson Tide only passed for 61 yards but they rushed for 243 yards on 43 carries. But without a doubt the the player of the game was the Alabama defense. They held the Volunteers to 194 yards of total offense and only gave up 33 yards rushing. But the biggest stat of the day was the 5 Int's by the Alabama defense, 2 of which were returned for TD's. It was a another satisfying win over a bitter rival, and of course a very satisfying victory cigar afterwards.
