Dolphins roll continues 31-17 over Bengals

The Dolphins offense has been clicking and the main reason for that has been the run game. Most people would assume that if the run game is going off then it would be all Lamar Miller when in fact the Dolphins play as many as 4 different running backs throughout the game. When asked about it owner LSUTRUTH had this to say "When you have a group like we have that can do so many different things it would be a crime to not let them all touch the rock and move the team. Coach Philbin has done a great job of mixing up who is doing what and the whole group is really playing well."

    Back to the game

The Dolphins and Bengals would drive solid drives to open the game however they would both result in punts. However, on the second drive of the game the dolphins came out grinding and hit on a long playaction pass to Clay. That would set up Thomas from 12 yards out for his first carry of the game a TD. The Bengals had answers with a quick scoring drive evening the game at 7-7 a piece very quickly. The Dolphins seeing Tannehill was fully recovered from the shoulder injury aired it out. Again though the Bengals would force a FG out of the Dolphins. 3 plays later on 3rd and 5 Rookie CB Jamar Taylor would intercept Andy Dalton on a quick out for a TD. The Bengals rallied behind Dalton who threw strikes to Sanu the whole game and managed a FG. Tannehill calmly moved Miami right down the field and found Mike Wallace for a TD to end the half.

    24-10 MIAMI

The Second half would feature running the ball and punts by both sides until Hawkins would take a drag route 80 yards after making the Miami defense look stupid breaking 4 tackles and many Dolphin defenders tackling each other. Miami this time had no answer and again was forced to punt. Reshod Jones would stop the Bengals chance to tie with an interception in the endzone keeping the score 24-17. Miami would build off that going 80 yards while losing Dustin Keller for an extended amount of time and score a TD on the first catch of young Derik Carriers career as he scored from 11 out. The Bengals would try to score quickly however Jones again would make the pick and seal the game for Miami.
