Coach Applegate returns from 4 game PED suspension to lead SMU to win over Temple
SMU's offense was running back on all cylinders with the return of offensive guru Coach Applegate. Many thought his play calling could of been affected by the PED's he was taking to help out but he didn't miss a step. Garrett Gilbert threw for 390 yards and 5 scores while hard nose back Wimbley ran for 120 yards and one score. Breakthrough star sophomore TE Arrius Holleman was also back on track and caught for two scores and 93 yards.

Wyoming wins battle of the Kickers 15-13

The Cowboys run game was virtually non existent as they were able to kick their way to victory. Coach Chandler commented after the game, " Sometimes you have to win ugly. This was an ugly win, but we will take it". The moment of the game was an INT by CB Michael Huff as SJSU were driving to get into FG position. He stepped in front of slant pass attempt to seal the game for the Cowboys. He had two picks on the day. With this win, the Cowboys are bowl eligible.
