Southampton started off quickly as Rickie Lambert turned a cross from Nathaniel Clyne into a goal on the first attempt of the game. The lead would hold for over an hour, but Gremio was able to get it back to even converting a cross of their own, however Southampton would get the lead back as a ball from Pablo Osvaldo found its way through the defense to the foot of Jay Rodriguez, who was able to convert for the game winner just 5 minutes from the final whistle.

Southampton got out on the right foot with a Rickie Lambert goal, as he lobbed a header over the keeper from a cross from Pablo Osvaldo, and Gaston Ramirez was able to double the lead just before halftime as a ball squirted through to him from a broken up shot attempt to hammer into the far post. Pablo Osvaldo converted a corner just after halftime, and substitute Victor Wanyama got on the scoresheet just short of the hour mark. Borussia Monchengladbach got things turned around after the hour mark starting with a penalty converted by Max Kruse, and added a second near the final whistle as Luuk de Jong headed home a cross from Kruse, but Southampton's lead was enough to hold to the final whistle.

Gonzalo Bergessio nets the hat trick as Catania finally has a convincing win against Hannover 96. Rain poured the entire match but the Catania side might hope it rains every match the rest of the season if it means four goals a game. Good game BigSmooth33.

A very close game. Hannover had a 17-9 shot advantage but its keeper Zieler had to make 8 saves, 1 more than his counterpart Mannone.

Sunderland's Ki laced a perfect shot into the opposite upper 90 in the opening minutes to sieze momentum. But that was shortlived, as a perfectly-placed cross just 11 minutes later found the waiting head of Sane' who didn't have to move his feet to drive a shot through Mannone's hands for the equalizer.

Both teams saw tremendous opportunities in the 2nd half as shots clanged off the bar at both ends of the field. GG BigSmooth33 ​
