This time around instead of grouping all the interesting teams in one top 10, I'll be doing an Americas top 10 and European top 10. And if enough interest an Africa/Asia top 10, although I don't think there has ever been a team from Africa or Asia in the league.

These posts shall be up by the weeken, might try to squeeze them in today since tomorrow is payday and Friday is well Friday. Ha.

    AMERICAS Top 10

    1. River Plate

    Why?

    • For selfish reasons, it would be pretty cool to have a Clasico to play with within the league. Albeit, River have a pretty good team + El Monumental has been added to the game.
    Key Players
    • CM Lucho Gonzalez (remember him?!??!) 77
    • GK Barovero 77
    • LB Vangioni 77
    • RM Sánchez 76
    • ST Saviola 76
    Fun Fact
    • River went down to division B a couple years ago, it was lovely.
    In Conclusion
    • They're probably the best team on this side of the world available to be drafted. Over 72/73 in almost every position, nice little compact squad.
    2. Tigres

    Why?

    • They have no budget
    Key Players
    • ST Gignac 81
    • ST Uche 78
    • ST Sobis 76
    • GK Guzman 76
    • CB Juninho 75
    Fun Fact
    • They have a 18 million budget in career mode, that's insane.
    In Conclusion
    • A Wings type team as they have a bunch of good attacking players, not listed above is Guerron 72 overall with 90 pace. Pretty sure their might be one Mexican team taken in the draft. This team is good.
    3. Colo Colo

    Why?
    • Back to the Colo Colo of old with high class players. This might be the best team they've had in years.
    Key Players
    • CM Valdés 77
    • GK Villar 75
    • CB Barroso 75
    • ST Paredes 75
    • ST Suazo 74
    Fun Fact
    • Colo Colo is the home that saw Bam Bam Zamorano, Valdivia, Vidal, Mati-gol and many more grow.
    In Conclusion
    • If you want to make history by selecting a South American squad not from Argentina or Brasil, then Colo-Colo is your team. Their home uni is pretty nice as well.
    4. Seattle Sounders FC

    Why?
    • Murica?
    Key Players
    • ST Dempsey 81
    • ST Martins 79
    • CDM Alonso 77 (CUBA!)
    • LM Ivanschitz 75
    • ST Valdez 75
    Fun Fact
    • Clint Dempsey is 2 years older than Oba Martins.
    In Conclusion
    • Mac had a great run with the Sounders a few seasons ago, we could call that team the Sounders lite version. This Sounders FC version is filled with talented players, the addition of Torres at CB has made this team an intriguing one. Also PAPPA, Viva Guatemala?
    5. Club America

    Why?
    • Now that Tigres has no budget America has been labeled as the 2nd best team from Mexico. Even with that tag, their roster is filled with skilled players.
    Key Players
    • LM Sambueza 77
    • RB Aguilar 75
    • CB Aguilar 75
    • ST Peralta 74
    • ST Benedetto 74
    Fun Fact
    • America fired Antonio Mohamed after he led the team to their 12th league title.
    In Conclusion
    • No longer the Giants of Mexico, specially in FIFA, America still have a good enough squad to be taken into serious consideration for your pick. Previous members have done well with Club America.
    6. Los Angeles Galaxy

    Why?
    • Bias pick, maybe a tad higher than they should. MLS shouldn't really have 2 teams.
    Key Players
    • CM Gerrard 84 (uh 84?)
    • ST Keane 80
    • ST Dos Santos 79
    • CB Gonzalez 76
    • CM Juninho 74
    Fun Fact
    • I was at Spartan Stadium when the Quakes came back to beat the Galaxy in the playoffs. It sucked.
    In Conclusion
    • If you want to go the MLS route and Seattle are taken, go to LA. The MLS will make up new rules to get Ronaldo to LA. If Cristiano wants to come by next year and the new LA team isn't ready, then he will be a Galaxian.
    7. Atlético Nacional

    Why?
    • Pablo Escobar would've sent numerous death threats if he were still alive, no one has taken a chance on a Colombian team yet.
    Key Players
    • CAM Torres 74
    • CDM Mejía 74
    • GK Vargas 73
    • LW Copete 72
    • RB Bocanegra 71
    Fun Fact
    • Pablo Escobar utilized his drug money to spend on Atlético Nacional.
    In Conclusion
    • The eye test tells you they may not be very good, however each starting position is over 70 and well their uniforms are pretty cool?
    8. Racing Club

    Why?

    • History. And they're good again.
    Key Players
    • ST Milito 79
    • ST Bou 76
    • GK Saja 76
    • CB Lollo 74
    • CM Videla 74
    Fun Fact
    • Racing's stadium, Estadio Presidente Juan Domingo Perón, is the 2nd largest stadium in Argentina behind El Monumental.
    In Conclusion
    • They should be rated higher than this 8th spot if we're being honest, would be a great addition to the league. Currently one of the top 3 teams in Argentina alongside Boca and River.
    9. Cruz Azul

    Why?
    • Have always been one of the more talented sides of Liga MX, but have yet to win anything since the year 0 BC.
    Key Players
    • GK Corona 76
    • CM Belluschi 76
    • LW Carrizo 74
    • CB Rodriguez 73
    • LB Fabio Santos 73
    Fun Fact
    • They're known as Los Cementeros.
    In Conclusion
    • Another team that has been left in the dust by Tigres, Cruz Azul does have some good quality attacking options and a solid keeper in Chuey Corona in the back.
    10. Independiente

    Why?
    • The gap between them and Racing is extremely close. They have talent.
    Key Players
    • CM Mancuello 79
    • LM Rodriguez 76 (CEBOLLA)
    • LB Papa 76
    • RM Pisano 74
    • CM Méndez 74
    Fun Fact
    • Their shirts used to be half blue and half white, the owner switch it up to red so they could look like the "Red Devils".
    In Conclusion
    • Looking at their ratings, oh man what a team. Take a look, take a look at this team now!!!! Should also be rated higher if it wasn't for biases.

    EUROPEAN TOP 10
    1. Real Sporting de Gijón

    Why?
    • Halilovic
    Key Players
    • LM Jony, 76
    • CAM Halilovic 76
    • RB Lora 76
    • CB Bernardo 76
    • GK Iván Cuéllar 76
    Fun Facts
    • Due to a transfer ban Real Sporting de Gijón was unable to buy any players during the transfer window. Their only reinforcements were talented youngsters that came in via a loan; Halilovic, Mascarelli, Sanabria.
    • ST Antonio Sanabria is also a former La Masia prospect.
    In Conclusion
    • Real Sporting de Gijón features one of the youngest squads in La Liga, some argued that it was one of the weakest due to the transfer restrictions. However after a deserving win at Deportivo they look like a safe bet to fight for safety or middle of the table.
    2. RC Celta de Vigo

    Why?

    • Almost everyone in that squad got a nice little boost that they deserved since the beginning of last season. Wake up EA other leagues exist besides the BPL.
    • In all seriousness, even with the loss of Khron-Dehli their squad is deeeeep.
    Key Players
    • LW Nolito 82
    • RW Orellana 79
    • CM Fernandez 79
    • RB Hugo Mallo 78
    • ST Iago Aspas 78
    Fun Fact
    • 4 former Barça B players are on this team, 3 of which formed part of the 1st ever Liga Adelante team in TFS. The 4 are Nolito, CB Fontas 77, CB Sergi Gomez 73, LB Carles Planas 71. The latter 3 were all part of the Barça B team of Season 10.
    In Conclusion
    • RC Celta de Vigo is consistent through every position, they have the talen and an above average defense to be considered as one of the top picks of the draft. It would be surprising to see them fall too far.
    3. Torino

    Why?

    • They might be the best team available in the draft, you want an A+ defense? Take Torino. You want a 32+ year old Striker that can still score? Well you can take a bunch of Italian teams for that, but Torino do feature Quagliarella.
    Key Players
    • CB Glik 82
    • CB Maksimovic 80
    • ST Quagliarella 79
    • RWB Bruno Peres 79
    • CM Baselli 78
    Fun Facts
    • Torino's top 5 CB's options are rated above 75, depth on depth.
    • Maxi Lopez, former Barça player!!!!
    In Conclusion
    • Another team that will be vying to be the top pick or one of the top picks of the draft. If you like a strong defense, then Torino should be close to the top on your draft board.
    4. Trabzonspor

    Why?

    • The talent on the field is good enough to make you forget about the hideous home jersey.
    Key Players
    • GK Kivrak 80
    • ST Cardozo 78
    • ST N'Doye 78
    • CAM Ekici 78
    • CAM Marin 77
    Fun Fact
    • Jose Bosingwa is still around!??!?!
    In Conclusion
    • With the big 3 all taking a must deserved bump to 4.5, Trabzonspor becomes the best available Turkish side. If you want a top level striker for 4 star teams, than Cardozo + N'Doye are your guys.
    5. Real Betis Balompié

    Why?
    • Rafa van der Vaart, Juan Vargas, Wolfswinkel, Joaquin. All new additions to the newly promoted side.
    Key Players
    • ST Ruben Castro 79
    • RM Joaquín 79
    • CM van der Vaart 77
    • LB Vargas 76
    • CB Westermann 76
    Fun Fact
    • Real Betis holds a strong rivalry against Sevilla, their games are usually likened to those of South America in terms of rivalries.
    In Conclusion
    • The last La Liga team in this top 10 is another promoted side. The Panza Verdes deserved to be looked at and maybe given a chance in the draft.
    6. FC Krasnodar

    Why?

    • Will be the strongest Russian team on the market, unless Lokomotiv gets Das Boot from Singh.
    Key Players
    • CB Granqvist 79
    • LM Joãzinho 79
    • ST Wanderson 77
    • ST Ari 77
    • GK Dikan 76
    Fun Fact
    • Promoted in 2011 despite finishing in 5th place.
    In Conclusion
    • Throughout league history there have been a number of Russian teams that were taken in the draft. After Lokomotiv and maybe Dinamo; Krasnodar is your choice.
    7. RSC Anderlecht

    Why?

    • Oh they sold a couple players? No worries, they produce young talent really really well.
    Key Players
    • CM Defour 77
    • RW Praet 77
    • CM Tielemans 76
    • ST Okaka Chuka 76
    • ST Suárez 75
    Fun Fact
    • Under Jeff's regime Anderlecht scored .00000005 goals a game and allowed .000005 goals a game.
    In Conclusion
    • Don't be fooled by the low goals scored last season and the one before that. Anderlecht have the talent to score goals, as well as a goalie who had 10000 clean sheets during the past 2 seasons combined.
    8. FC Augsburg

    Why?
    • Solid team from the defense up to the forwards. Some lost names in there like Altintop & Bobadilla
    Key Players
    • CDM Baier 79
    • ST Bobadilla 77
    • RB Verhaegh 77
    • CB Klavan 77
    • CAM Altintop 76
    Fun Fact
    • Only German team in my top 10 of European teams.
    In Conclusion
    • If I were in the draft and had to take a German team, it would be this one.
    9. Club Brugge KV

    Why?

    • This team isn't too far behind Anderlecht. If you eliminate the goalie position this team has a solid squad.
    Key Players
    • RW Refaelov 78
    • CAM Victor Vazquez 77
    • CAM Vanaken 76
    • RB Meunier 75
    • RW Gedoz 74
    Fun Fact:
    • In Spanish their name is the equivalent of witch.
    In Conclusion
    • If you want to take a chance with something new, take Brugge.
    10. Celtic

    Why?
    • History, hopes they get their stadium in game for FIFA 17?
    Key Players
    • CB van Dijk 77
    • GK Gordon 76
    • RB Lustig 75
    • CDM Brown 75
    • LB Izaguirre 74
    Fun Fact:
    • The Old Firm will be unplayable in this years version of FIFA. It was already unplayable since both teams were awful in FIFA 15.
    In Conclusion
    • I know they suck, they might be bad. But I'm a big fan of their jerseys and history. History and jerseys and your top 5 guys are all defensive minded players!!

Teams available Power Rankings/AKA Top 50 (sort of my more serious rankings)

    1. Málaga CF - That midfield man.
    2. RC Celta de Vigo - Nolito is great. Iago is back. They beat Barça 4-1. Demolished Barça.
    3. Torino - Defense Defense Defense, chant.
    4. Stade Rennais FC - Allez Allez.
    5. FC Krasnodar - Is everyone sleeping on Joãozinho?
    6. Trabzonspor - Maybe Hedache will take them since he dislikes latin teams (Spain good tho?)
    7. Clube Altetico Mineiro - No more Dinho, no more Bernard. Parabens.
    8. Getafe CF - La Liga guys, go to La Liga.
    9. Real Betis Balompié - Did you guys see Joaquin's return?
    10. Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras - Another Historic Giant returns.
    11. Rayo Vallecano - Those black unis tho?
    12. Feyenoord - Short term Feyenoord > Ajax. Good team.
    13. RCD Espanyol - Use them against Real and lose by 6 every time.
    14. RC Deportivo La Coruña - Celso Borges in that midfield, nice.
    15. West Brom - Rondon was a huge buy.
    16. Hamburger SV - They keep playing well and they could be a top 10 team.
    17. Girondins de Bordeaux - Khazri ftw. Roldan the Uruguayan, meh.
    18. Atalanta - Carmona in the midfield should be a good one.
    19. FC Augsburg - Altintop.
    20. River Plate - Stadium in game? Check. Good team? Check.
    21. Toulouse FC - Kasp did well with them at times.
    22. Norwich City - If only for that sick 3rd jersey.
    23. SC Braga - Best Portuguese team available.
    24. Sport Club Internacional - Brazilian teams will be a hot commodity.
    25. Cruzeiro - Maybe an underrated squad.
    26. Hannover 96 - Jugs making the jump back?
    27. Granada CF - I'd rank them 50th, but they do have some nice talent.
    28. Watford - If only for Quique Flores as your coach.
    29. Levante UD - Another team that is probably too high.
    30. Club Brugge KV - Better than Anderlecht? Yes.
    31. Bologna - Destro is pretty good.
    32. RSC Anderlecht - Without the losses of this past summer a top 5 team.
    33. 1. FSV Mainz - Undecided on that 3rd kit.
    34. Hellas Verona - Who here hates Luca Toni?
    35. Chievo Verona - Nice ratings, but I don't love them at any spot on the draft board.
    36. Hertha BSC Berlin - Solomon Kalou as your ST and an overrated American at CB.
    37. Carpi - The name by itself sells.
    38. SV Werder Bremen - They used to be good.
    39. 1 FC Köln - Big fan of Osako.
    40. Sassuolo - Berardi.
    41. Tigres UANL - Lowest team to be drafted? Should be rated higher?
    42. Independiente - Mancuello is a monster.
    43. Bournemouth - Someone will take them, not worth it. Damn the BPL.
    44. Sau Paulo Futebol Club - Who doesn't love Rogerio Ceni?
    45. San Lorenzo de Almagro - El Cholo managed them once upon a time.
    46. FC Basel - In PES you can play in their stadium.
    47. UD Las Palmas - If Villarreal were still in the league they'd be force to use their away kits.
    48. Real Sporting de Gijon - Halilovic?
    49. Colo Colo - Had to throw them in here. Go South everyone!!!
    50. Santos Futebol Club - They have Gabriel. He will be a star.

Whichever one you want to do or both. I already had a list of Americas teams and a semi list of the European ones, I'll do both as well just to selfishly promote Halilovic haha.

    FIFA 16 DRAFT PREVIEW
    European Teams

Welcome to FIFA 2016 with a new Season in TFS looming in the Horizon it is time for a DRAFT PREVIEW as a record number (12) of Managers have been displaced by the new Rankings for FIFA 16. This 1st POT Draw has some of the more talented managers on the clock-

    TOP 10 EUROPEAN TEAMS AVAILABLE

    76 Celta Viga 78-73-75
This Club beat Barcelona in real life- that should be enough to make this club 1st choice. If not then- how about a Defensive line that boast a 78 RB , 2 77 CBs and 76 LB- top that off with 79 CDM Fernandez and 77 CDM Radoja- and you basically have a fortress around 76 GK Sergio. Then have 77 LCM Hernandez and 77 RM Wass roa mthe pitch- looking for 78 ST Aspas or wait for it.. 82 LW Nolito. This is a 4.5 Star squad swimming in the 4 Star kiddie pool- in the hands of a Strong Manager and its pretty much lights out. Expect this club to go FIRST- doubt anyone passes on this miss rated Club.

    76 Trabzonspor 78-76-75
80 GK Kivrak and old Chelsea man 76 RB Bosingwa are the highlights on a very average defensive line- but the Turkish club still manage an overall 76 rating. That means somewhere in that line up hides teeth. 77 CDM M’Bia , 78 CAM Ekici , 77 CAM M. Marin & 76 RM Erdogan will give any Defense headaches- but with FIFA 16’s new gameplay and TFS rules- the two 78 ST in Cardozo and N’Doye will be a defensive nightmare- expect OFFENSE to be this squads DEFENSE through the Campaign.

    76 Torino 76-75-77
The Italian Club looks impressive on both ends- with 80 CB Maksimovic 82 LCB Glik and 78 CB Moretti anchoring the defense with 76 GK Padelli- probably one of the best Defensive Line Ups in TFS. The Middle is the most suspect- but it is still talented with 78 CM D.Basseli and 77 CDM A.Gazzi commanding that backline. Torino has some attacking teeth with 79 ST Quagliarella who is talented enough to play as a lone striker- but pacey 74 CF J.Martinez can provide some balance if needed to keep Defenses honest.

    76 Malaga* 75-76-75
Malaga was a darling pick in FIFA 2015 that didn’t just pan out because of their lack of speed- in FIFA 16, this squad gets it true due. 78 GK Kameni OR 80 GK Ochoa is comfy with their experienced backline- 78 CB anchoring a good defense more than adequate to keep average managers at bay- 81 LDM Camacho can manage the midfield with pacey 78 ST Amrabat a tantalizing target. Malaga is a talented bunch with an even midfield to complement a very good Defense- 2016 may be the time for this Spanish side.

    76 Stade Rennais 75-74-74
The surprising pick for some- Stade Rennais boast a GREAT Defensive scheme. 81 GK Costil is covered by 78 CB Mexer and 76 CB Armand. The Midfield is skilled- Swiss International 76 CDM Fernandes provides cover & 79 LM P.Ntep can run at Defenses with his speed. Two 75 ST in Sio (SPEED) & Toivonen (SHOT) is diverse enough to keep Defenses off balanced. Overall a well balanced squad- no true stand out but even keeled enough to warrant consideration into the Top 10, even with the poor wing backs available in the Starting 11.

    75 Udinese 77-74-76
Strong Defense with two 78 CBs Danilo 7 Heurtaux with 78 GK Karnezis provides great cover- suspect midfield with only 75 Edenilson of note- but 79 ST Di Natale may have lost a step but still deadly with 77 ST Thereau and 76 ST Zapata bringing in more fire power.

    75 Genoa 77-74-75
Offensively gifted Genoa- with an array of midfielders ranging from 75-77 and quick attacking wings in 79 RW Perotti and 75 LW Gakpe- can make a Defense earn their pay for the day- Defensively- like most Italian squads: strong CBs (76 each) and two 77 wing backs can make life real easy for 81 GK Perin (or really really difficult for Offenses to find the net).

    75 Getafe 75-76-74
Strong 77 GK Guaita will need to be in top form as this Defesne is AVERAGE at best. However, 78 RM Pedro Leon and 77 CAM Sarabia is a force to be reckoned with – litter the rest of the line up with 76 midfielders and this Club can be a force A False 9 line up? The options up top is awful with 74 ST Alvaro the best of a poor bunch.

    75 Real Betis 76-76-73
An above Average Defense with an average Keeper in 75 GK Adrian- the lone stand out on this backline 76 CD Westermann. The Top 2/3rd is better with 77 CAM van der Vaart now plying his trade here with 76 CDM Digard. 79 ST Castro provides the bite- up top.

    75 Bordeaux 76-74-73
80 GK Carrasso is anchored by two talented defensive backs in 79 CB Sane and 77 Pallois. Ex-Bayern Munich 73 LB Contento and a very poorly rated RB is concern in the back- but the central defense is solid. The Midfield is average with only 79 CAM Khazri a standout. Up front you have two good strikers - lacking pace but 77 ST Rolan is a well rounded attacking forward while 77 ST Diabate is an imposing Target Man strong to to batter any defense. Two pacey substitute Strikers to finsih of the match against a tired Defense may prove a quick advantage in a gritty affair.

I've played Celta Vigo 3 or 4 times (as AI) and that is one good squad. If Iago Aspas played half that well for Liverpool, they would have found their replacement for Suarez!
