I'm just saying that's a very awkward pose for your receiver on the breakaway run. He looks like he's waving to the camera and doing "Deion's" at the same time.
Terrapins Pull Away Late College Park, MD- It looked like Maryland's National Title season would be over before it started. The Terrapins trailed 20-14 entering the 4th quarter, QB Ricardo Yound had already thrown 3 INT's, and the team on the whole looked sluggish. The defense looked dominant against the rush all game allowing only 4 yards on the ground, but Ritgers was able to move the ball at will through the air. "I felt like we were sitting back and letting them work too much. We were getting pressure with a 4 man rush, but I figured if we brought more we could make them make mistakes" said Coach Broth, and that is what happened. The Terrapins would force 5 sacks, and kept the Scarlet Knights off the board. This allowed the Terrapins to score 14 unanswered points and escape with a 28-20 victory before their home crowd.
Miami- 28 Wake Forest- 21 I really think this game plays differently than it did a month ago. I don't know what it is, but it's kind of irritating me how the CPU plays the pass on defense. I can never get a pass over the top even with a QB with 94 throw power.
I didnt even think about it until you said it, but I think you are right. I played Illinois and had 5 INTs. I dont think Iv ever thrown that many on any NCAA game. Psychic DBs are back
Terrapins Beat Duke in Convincing Fashion College Park, MD- The Terrapins got up early and they never relented on the hated Blue Devils of Duke University. RB Wes Brown rushed for 4 TD's on the day with 167 yards on the ground. QB Ricardo Young was near perfect on the day throwing only 1 pass that wasn't completed to his team. Unfortunately that one pass was an INT, but it did not matter much as the Terrapins were able to hold the Blue Devils to 260 yards of total offense which included 23 rushing yards on their way to a 38-10 victory. The Terrapins have now on the season allowed 27 rushing yards. Next up for the Terrapins is a trip to Morgantown, WV to take on the Mountaineers in primetime.
South Carolina blanks Georgia, 31-0 Spoiler Spoiler The Gamecocks had two weeks to prepare for the Bulldogs and their Heisman-hopeful Tori Gurley. The extra week to think about their poor showing against a lesser ECU squad and strong words from D-coordinator Lorenzo Ward gave them some sort of spark and it seemed every break went their way in four quarters of action. All-Americans Victor Hampton and Kelcy Quarles made big impacts with an early INT for Hampton and 3 big sacks for Quarles. Junior corner Ronnie Martin convinced the coaches in practice over the past two weeks to give him the nod over RS Jr. Ahmad Christian and it payed dividends as he deflected 3 big passes, including two 3rd down attempts. On offense, Dylan Thompson produced the rare, turnover-free game and helped propel the Gamecocks ahead at home. Brandon Wilds was the workhorse, but Mike Davis, Shon Carson, and the freshman FB Jeremy Atkins reaped the rewards with a rushing touchdown a piece. Atkins now has two TDs in as many career starts. Georgia came out in a funk and just wasn't able to work themselves out of it. Next week the Bulldogs look to rebound at home against Arkansas. Good game Coach_III, but you need to throw some salt over that shoulder or something because that was some shit for luck you had.
#1 Alabama & #7 Virginia Tech Throw Down In Blacksburg Bama rolled into Blacksburg carrying a number one ranking, and a big ol target on their back. RS SR Blake Sims has recently taken the reins to a new offense, and many thought this game had every making of an upset; A hungry and talented home team against the hyped #1 power house. Both teams threw punch after punch with a turnover occurring here and there (especially early) and offense going off in every direction. I can't recall specifics, but all I can say is that this was an absolute showdown. My hat is off to DrunkenSoldier as his team had me worrying constantly in this one. The pressure to keep up with his offense was an elephant (pun intended) I had on my back for all four quarters. I can only imagine the damage the Hokie passing attack will do in the ACC this year. Some stats: TJ Yeldon had 140 yards (not sure about TDs), Amari Cooper finished with 160 ish on 7 catches and 2 scores. Blake Sims had a solid day with only one pick (on an errant throw) and about 220 yards or so with a couple scores to Cooper. Again, great game DrunkenSoldier!
Florida State 31 Pittsburgh 14 FSU took a 21-7 lead into halftime. Kelvin Benjamin 6 Rec 119 Yards 2 TDs Jameis Winston 15-21 183 Yards 4 TDs James Wilder Jr 19 Att 117 Yards Karlos Williams 7 Tackles TFL Pitt's Issac Bennett 9 Att 48 Yards 2 TDs
Miami- 35 BC- goose egg Derek Riley 30-35 349 yards 2 TD and 1 int. The pick wasn't even his fault as it was a dropped pass that deflected into the defender's hands. To think he could have been playing for Memphis...
Dylan Thompson had a good day with 3 total TDs. Brandon Wilds went to the locker rook early with a concussion so Shon Carson got the ball 10 times for 116 yards. Bruce Ellington made his presence known with three big plays on deep throws. First a jump ball, second a tip drill TD catch, third a long bomb he outran the coverage on to end the hopes of a comeback for Rice. *will insert vid when I get on the console again* Jadaveon Clowney awoke from his slumber and had 7 solo tackles, 4 TFL, and 2 sacks.
Terrapins Route Mountaineers Morgantown, WV- The Maryland Terrapins coming into last season had lost their previous 7 games against the Mountaineers. After getting the big win, the Terps looked to continue on that, and they did just that. After allowing Mountaineer TD's on their first two drives the defense tightened up and gave up 0 points for the remainder of the game as Ricardo Young and the offense carried the Terrapins to a 44-14 victory over their bitter rival.
Isnt no huddle read-option just awful to defend? Kudos for holding em out of the endzone until the 4th.
It took me a while to figure out that he was really a threat because he wasn't that fast, but they just kept on calling his number. They play a lot harder than they look on paper. Basically I found the way to slow them was to cover the TE, Cella, over the middle and cover the scramble after that because it was "1..2..tuck" with them. We advancing sometime soon?
Wake Forest 3 Florida State 34 Winston 10 of 13 158 Yards 3 TDs James Wilder Jr. 18 Att 103 Yards Rashad Greene 4 Rec 81 Yards TD Kelvin Benjamin 3 Rec 36 Yards 2 TDs Karlos Williams 6 solo INT TD
Just played a game where I had 4 turnovers and still won 24-17. Thing is, its stuck on the screen where it generates highlights EDIT: Replayed the game and it ended up 31-17 SCar. Fewer turnovers, but just as much unstoppable Vandy when they got past the 50. Wilds left the second game in a row with an injury. Clowney went back into hibernation and Shaq Rolan found some room against the Commodore secondary for 4 catches, 83 yds, 1 TD, and the game ball.
Bama rolls up 350 on the ground including 200 by Yeldon en route to a 29 point win over Ole Miss (49-20). They hung around until we realized we can just run them over every play and their QB didn't react well to zone.
Sorry fellas my laptop is doen for commission and no telling when I can get it back up. I won't be writing game of the weeks barely doong recaps all I have is my smartphone but that will do haha.
