The #1 ranked Miami Hurricanes and the 2nd ranked Alabama Crimson Tide meet for the 2nd straight year to decide the BCS Championship. The Crimson Tide won last year in a sim event that left an empty feeling in both teams. The two teams then met in week 3 of this year with the Coach thebouncer24 and his Canes winning 41-28. Going into the runner match there were alot of questions to be answered. Could the Crimson Tide find a way to slow down Duke Johnson, would the Tide stay with their running game or panic and abandon it like they did in week 3 and could the young Alabama QBs see the coverage and not force a pass and get it picked off. The Crimson Tide took the opening kickoff and behind the running of Yeldon and smart passes by McLeod Alabama drew first blood on a 13 yard TD run by Yeldon. On Miami first possession the Crimson Tide picked off a Cane pass and a couple plays later OJ Howard scored on a 25 yard TD pass from Parker McLeod and suddenly Alabama was up 14-0. But the Canes did not panic and cut the lead to 14-7 when Rashawn Scott broke free on a 74 yard TD from Ryan Williams. The two teams traded possesions until late in the 2nd Qtr when Duke Johnson scored on a 2 yard TD run and tied the game at 14-14. Midway thru the 3rd Qtr the Crimson Tide reclaimed the lead 21-14 when Altee Tenpenny caught a 9 yard swing pass for a TD but the Canes answered right back when Rashawn Scott WR #80 scored on a 8 yard TD pass. In the 4th Qtr the Canes took their first lead at 28-21 when Duke Johnson scored on a 9 yard TD run but the Crimson Tide would not fold under the pressure and came right back and tied the game at 28-28 with 21 seconds remaining on a Altee Tenpenny 6 yard TD run. The Canes were unable to get into FG range and the BCS Title game headed to Overtime.

In the first OT the Crimson Tide struck first on a Altee Tenpenny HB 16 yard TD run but the Canes were up to the task and sent the game into a 2n OT when Duke Johnson scored on a 8 yard TD pass from Ryan Williams. In the 2nd OT Duke Johnson put the Canes up 42-35 on a 8 yard TD run and shifted the pressure back to the Crimson Tide. But the Crimson Tide was up to the task when Altee Tenpenny HB scampered 3 yards for a TD run on 4th and goal and pulled Alabama to within a point. The Crimson Tide staff knew that the odds of them stopping the Canes and Duke Johnson were not good so they decided to roll the dice and go for 2 and the win. The Crimson Tide was able to convert the 2 point play and win the BCS Championship 43-42.
