Miami Wins Back to Back ACC Titles
    27-6

After last year's 4 OT performance to the favored FSU, that eventually catapulted Miami into the National Championship game, Miami was a bit skeptical of this game. They did extensive scouting on Clemson, we didn't get a chance to see them this year until now, so all we had was numbers, makes scouting harder but you can get a feel for what is going to happen because numbers never lie! So Miami with a game plan on D that was developed prior to this game, they had it down to 2 key points. 1) do NOT let sammy watkins hurt you and 2) watch the qb option or triple option. The numbers we saw were high on the QB running so we knew we needed to focus on that. We executed both to a T, Sammy Watkins did nothing on special teams and only pulled in 2 catches on the day, as for the running QB, well he had 8 carries for -32 yards. Yes, I know sacks are tallied in there and we did record 5 sacks. But the main thing was we were on him all game and not going to let him sneak off for a big play.

So now that we have the key features out of the way, here's what happened throughout the game. Clemson's first drive was a quick punt, don't think it was a 3 and out but maybe 6 plays. Miami would work the ball right down the field with Duke and a slight mix of passes. Clemson would come back out on the field and throw a pick, Miami was going to counter it on the very next play but QB Ryan Williams rushed the throw and threw a pick. This was a good opportunity for Clemson to get back in it. Unfortunately for Clemson they were only to manage a FG. Then it was big play time for Duke, lined up in the wildcat and took off for a 75 yard TD on a one move side step of the safety and gone. The only other TD on the day was again Duke Johnson on a 1 yard dive.

This game was a great game for Miami and huge shout out to Clemson, they played a good game but we had them scouted out to a T and they were unable to adjust mid game. So just give Duke his Heisman already. We all know 2400+ yards and 40 TDs is going to do it.

    Next up: THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
opponent: unknown (bama if they win, probably ND if bama loses)

This game does secure back to back ACC Titles and back to back appearances in the National Championship (we won't talk about last years sim)

The Crimson Tide and the Gators meet once again in Atlanta to determine who would win the SEC Title. These two teams have meet each other meet 7 other times in the SEC Title game since it started in 1992. The Crimson Tide came into the game at 11-1 and ranked 2nd in the country and looking for a potential shot at playing for the BCS Title. Coach Diddy81 had his Gators entering the game at 10-2 and ranked 10th in the country. The game got off to a fast start as the Gators quickly cut thru the Alabama defense as they drove into Crimson Tide territory on the strong arm of Driskel. But the Crimson Tide cut short the drive with an Interception at their own 1 yard line. Alabama was able to drive the ball off the goal line but facing a 3rd and medium the Crimson Tide called what they felt was a safe screen pass but were shocked when the Gator DE was standing there waiting on the pass. But the Alabama defense did an excellent job in playing sudden change defense and held the Gators to a 35 yard FG. The Crimson Tide responded behind the running of TJ Yeldon and the passing of Parker McLeod and Alabama took the lead 7-3 when OJ Howard caught a 7 yard TD pass from Parker McLeod. The two teams continued to trade possession in the 2nd Qtr with neither team gaining an advantage with the only scoring coming on a 22 yard FG to increase Alabama's lead to 10-3 at the half. In the 3rd Qtr the two defenses continued to dominate the game as neither team could gain an edge. The Gators tied the game at 10-10 early in the 4th Qtr when Latroy Pittman pulled in a 13 yard TD pass from Jeff Driskel. The Crimson Tide reclaimed the lead at 17-10 with 2:57 remaining when Yeldon scored on a 3 yard TD run. The Crimson Tide defense was able to hold on and keep the Gators out of the end zone and Alabama held on for a hard fought 17-10 win over the Gators. With the win over the Gators the Crimson Tide earned a spot in the BCS Title game against Miami and a chance to avenge their week 3 loss to the Canes earlier this year.

    Great Game Diddy81
