The Colts led the whole way in a game with a lot of punting back and forth. Late in the 1st, Luck hit Hilton on a quick in route which was almost picked, then spun off a tackler and ran for a 67-yard TD. Indianapolis added a field goal, and was going in to score, when Luck made his biggest mistake of the game. Luck threw a pick 6 late in the 2nd quarter. Luck's other INT came off a broken tackle in the backfield that we lost on a 1-on-1 jump ball. The 2nd half consisted of punting back and forth, our biggest play may have been a 19-yard Andrew Luck scramble late in the 4th, even though it didn't get us any points. No real offense happened until Jacksonville knew it needed to score with under 3 minutes left. They were able to get in field goal range, but missed a yard short as time expired.

I get the feeling we're a team that will play not to lose, the passing attack isn't strong enough to attack and win games. Anquan Boldin did led the team in receptions with 6, showing his 75 speed might not be a huge factor, but rookie Jordon Chaney didn't look too good, dropping a few passes. His best play was the 1st play of the game, Luck tried to slide  and then rocketed a pass downfield pass the line of scrimmage, and Chaney made an unbelievable catch with a man on him.

    Steelers 31 Browns 13
    [IMG]
Steelers would jump out to an early 14-0 lead in the first quarter. As they were trying to make it a 3 score game, the Browns intercepted Big Ben, one of 2 picks on the day for him. Browns would then draw closer, at the end of the half it was 21-7 (I think). Second half the Browns were cursed by pass protection as they were trying to mount the come back. Steelers would give away a fumble and another INT in the 2nd half but the Browns couldn't capitalize on their created turnovers.

EAGLES respond to Patriots talk of being SOFT

News broke this week with the Patriots coach and star QB Tom Brady saying the NFC East was soft as a baby's ass. This was fuel to the fire seeing how the Eagles were still feeling the effects of being eliminated from the playoffs by a rival opponent. Nick Foles was lights out going 16/19 for 267 and 4TDs. Three of those TD's were to Jordan Matthews who had a career day with 7 catches for 127. The Eagles defense was running around on Viagra to combat their soft D .. Intercepting Brady 3 times set the tone for the day for the Eagles defense. Also keeping Gronk in check with only 1 catch and Ridley to 48 yards on the ground was key.

Raiders Open Season with Dominating Win against Chargers 51-21

Coming off a disappointment playoff loss, the Raiders re-tooled and looked to get back on track in their winning ways and it started off against a divisional rival in the Chargers. It did not take long as Khalil Mack intercepted a pass on the 1st possession to take it back for the score to give the Raiders a 7-0 lead. The chargers answered back quickly with a 70 yard pass to Keenan Allen on the next possession to tie the score up.

From this point, the Raider’s offense behind Mcfadden and the running game dominated most of the remainder of the game totaling 250 yards rushing for the game with Mcfadden leading the way with over 125 yards rushing and a TD. Derek Carr was efficient throwing for 2 Tds and a little under 200 yards passing with no turnovers. The Raider defense however forced a number of interceptions, didn’t allow Ryan Matthews to get on track in the running game and shutdown the Chargers offense. The concern on the defense was the raider D did give up two big plays of over 70 yards to both keenan allen and the rookie WR Slaughter, other than that, the Raiders defense did a great job stopping the offense.

Behind the good D and running game, the Raiders time of possession was 36 minutes and controlled the game.

Raiders look onto another division rival in the Chiefs next week.

Big Ben killed me. The final stat line may not be great, but he was like 15/15 at one point. You played a nice tidy game and kicked my ass... gg

-Game ended due to EA's servers sucking-

    Colts 20
    Saints 17

Just like week 1 vs Jacksonville, there was a lot of punting in the 1st half, as the Saints took a 3-0 lead. Led by Jimmy Graham, they extended it to 17-0 when the Colts got the ball with 9 minutes left in the game. Andrew Luck used the no huddle and his legs to lead us down the field for a score. On the Saints next drive, they completed a big first down pass, but the ball was stripped by an Indianapolis linebacker. Luck ran for a 25 yard TD on a walk-in scramble with the left side vacating in man to man coverage. The Saints drove the field and took a few minutes off the clock, but a pass on 3rd down gave Indi a timeout to use from its 8 and 1:15 left. We drove the field and didn't use our timeout until we got into field goal range. Saints went 3 and out to start OT, and we got inside the 30, then EA gave out. GG Star Athlete that was a high scoring game for us. Luck had 3 big runs, and we expect him to be more mobile this season.

    Bills win unlikely offensive shootout
This looked nothing like a Buffalo Bills game. CJ Spiller took the opening hand off 80 yards for a TD, accounting for more yards on that play then he usually gets in a game. The Bills would break big play after big play en route to jumping to a quick 21-3 lead in the first quarter.

In the 2nd, Sam Bradford would get hurt, leading last years starter Ryan Nassib to enter the game where he led a comeback to make it 28-17 at halftime.

Much more defense would be played in the 2nd half although the Giants drove down field and scored quickly to start the half. Although they failed to convert the 2-point attemp, they'd still begun to put some worry in the Bills mind as they made it 28-23. The Bills would commit to running the ball and milking the clock after this. They were largely successful as Spiller finished with 198 yards on 17 carries and 4 TDs while backup Brown added 64 yards on 11 carries. The Bills would run the ball and grind out the win 38-23

Sorry for the crappy summary, I'm too tired and didn't wanna forget the game. GG ptsbx1, I honestly have no idea where that run game came from.

I wanted to quit in the first quarter. haha It was the madden momentum i guess because it just seemed like you were playing at a faster speed and getting crazy blocks. Good game though, I tried making it interesting and now with the way Nassib played there may be some QB controversy in NY......

Great game Kid. You ran the ball so efficiently and kept Rivers uneasy all night (as usual). I really should have run more but your time-sucking momentum-sapping long drives made me feel like I had to get things going through the air or the game would be over!

I will get a "W" against you someday.... When the stars align... I still hold on to that huge comeback the last game we played in M13 where I came back from multiple scores only to lose in the end... Woulda, coulda, shoulda.... I don't like losing but enjoy the competition you bring every time we play. If I beat you it will be as meaningful as a Superbowl victory from my perspective. Look forward to our game week 17! Good luck the rest of the way.

The St Louis Rams came into town to challenge the Niners in a Thursday night NFC West showdown. Both teams struggled in their week one contests. For San Fran, their opening possession ended in a three and out. The Rams then took the ball and seven plays later chase Daniels connected with Kenny Britt for an 8 yard touchdown. The Niners then went three and out again. After an eleven play drive stalled at the SF 17 yardline, St Louis kicker Greg Zuerlein increased the Ram lead to 10 - 0. Another 49er three and out had the home fans grumbling. Fortunately the defense stepped up and was able to force a three and out of its own. Thats when Colin Kaepernick made an errant throw which was picked off and turned into another Zuerlein field goal. The first saw the teams trotting off the field with the scoreboard reading 13 - 0 in favor of the St Louis Rams.

Trumaine Brock decided enough was enough as he stepped in front of a Daniels. Kapernick and the offense took the field going to work on a seven play drive which ended in a 10 yard pass to Vernon Davis to tighten the score to 13 - 7. The teams seemed to switch sides as St Louis went three and out followed by a Niners drive down to the Ram 4. On a play that would eventually determine the game, Colin kept the ball on an option play and was stood up by DE Jerry Hughes before fumbling the ball into the hands of Lamarcus Joyner who sprinted 96 yards for the touchdown. The play was reviewed in the booth and overturned citing the forward progress of Kaep being stopped prior to the ball coming out. The Niners took advantage of the ruling, taking the lead on a one yard run by rookie Cofield for the 14 - 13 lead. St Louis again had to punt after three unsuccessful plays on offense. San Fran took over and reeled off seven plays before Janoris jenkins stepped in front of a Kaepernick pass at the St Louis 23 yard line. Chase Daniel completed to passes to start the drive but SF rookie cornerback Delonte Dansby had an excellent read on a ball in the flats for his first INT and pick six of his career. With the score now 21 - 13, the San Fran defense looked to attack the ball carrier on the way to QB Daniel. On a second and ten, perennial Pro Bowler patrick willis read Daniels' eyes and broke on a pass across the middle with 4:30 left in the game. SF added a field goal for the 24 - 13 lead. Daniel put on his captain comeback hat moving his team down to the San Fran 32 before missing on two attempts to Charles Johnson in the endzone. San Fran goes to 1 - 1 on the season while St Louis falls to 0 - 2. GG Wyrmreaver that challenge definitely decided the momentum.

Lets tighten up on these game summaries... I'm aware Daddys League/EA site is down but it doesnt take much to recap your game. Several of you owe multiple reviews (Saints, Broncos, Bengals, Seahawks), me nor the rest of the admins have time to babysit this simple mandatory request. Get them in within a 3 game span MAX or you will be replaced by a more active user, or just the CPU because they'll offer the same amount of content.
