    WEEK 16

This was a very tight game that really could of went either way. Coach brizz98 was needing a win today to elevate his teams chances of a playoff berth, but the Bengals were looking to keep momentum flowing as they prepare for the Wildcard Round.

The Titans came out running the ball and doing so very successfully. They would maintain it the entire game. Their passing game showed up when called upon, but the running game was the workhorse. No matter the Bengals defense, they simply could not slow them down. Defensively the Titans done something that no one else had done yet, stop Maurice Jones-Drew. Since MJD coming to Cinci, he has had over 100 yards every game, but in this one he was kept to only 46 yards! Coach DU made the statement after the game "Those boys obviously were keying off of MJD the whole game, and we knew we were going to have to mix up our gameplan to win this one".

As stated above, the Bengals running game was close to non existent. Andy Dalton and the receiving corp did pick up the slack though. Dalton threw for 335 yards and made solid decisions on where to go with the ball. The Bengals defense played fair in the passing game, although they were raped in the run game. The key guy in this matchup, although he only caught 2 passes, was little Andrew Hawkins. He ended the day with 125 yards receiving, and both his receptions came at much needed times. The final reception came on a 3rd and long in the 4th quarter, and the Bengals HAD to have a first down to put the game away.

    FINAL SCORE:

    BENGALS 37

    TITANS 27

    PLAYER OF THE GAME:

    Andrew Hawkins

2 receptions for 125 yards and 1 TD

GG brizz98 that was some of the toughest run defense I've faced in a long time.
