Houston beats Pittsburgh at home in a thriller. The steelers jumped out to an early ten zero lead thanks to a Houston turnover and a good steady offense. The texans offense eventually came alive and rallied, but Pitt stuck around te whole game tieing it up with 40 seconds left. Houston answered with a great drive capped by a 50 yard field goal as time expired. Good game pittrocks.
Dolphins - 14 Broncos - 35 Brock Osweiler played another great game but the defense really shined in this game forcing five turnovers, winning that battle 5-2. Osweiler did throw a pair of picks but was otherwise brilliant throwing for three scores and running in another when no receivers appeared to be open. The Dolphins looked sharp to start the game as they marched right down the field to take a 7-0 lead but the Broncos would score and then force a fumble that would result in them finding the endzone again to go up 14-7. Miami quickly came back and tied the game but the Broncos caught fire in the final minute of the game scoring to up by 7 and then the CB would intercept a pass, taking it back for 6 to give Denver the 28-14 lead. Osweiler would throw his third TD in the third quarter while the Bronco D held strong, turning the Dolphins back twice in the redzone and coming up with three more turnovers. GG hornfaninbama. Good luck the rest of the way
Jets 23 Bills 38 The Buffalo Bills win this home division game in the pouring rain. The Bills started off with the ball and drove down the field to about the 20 yard line. On 2nd and 8, EJ Manuel threw a pass over the middle that should have been easily picked off but was dropped by the Jets defense. Manuel would throw an incompletion on the next play and the Bills would settle for a 3-0 lead. The Jets would have the ball and would force a pass to Jimmy Graham that would be picked off and the Bills would have great field position. They would run and pass the ball down the field, before EJ Manuel would take it in from 1 yard out to go up 10-0. The Jets would respond with a big 3rd down conversion with Stephen Hill beating the press all the way down to the 2 yard line where Chris Ivory would take it in from there. The Bills would have a nice drive going before a CJ Spiller fumble would change the momentum and give the Jets the ball with good field position. After a dropped 3rd down pick, the Bills defense would hold for a field goal and get the ball back. After putting together a drive that would put them inside the 35 yard line of the Jets, Stevie Johnson would find a hole deep in a cover 2 and catch a touchdown pass to go up 17-10. The Bills would hold and get the ball back and CJ Spiller would catch a screen pass at about the 50 yard line and take it in for 6 and a 24-10 lead with under 2 minutes to go. The Jets would drive down and get into field goal range but would shank the field goal and leave it a little short as well on a very makable kick. To start the 2nd half, the Jets would get a great kick return, almost taking it back for 6, but somehow the kicker got in his way and slowed him down. The Jets would still score and cut the lead to 7. They would force a punt after EJ Manuel took a sack on 3rd down on a play where the intended WR would slip in the wet field (can't wait for my dome next season). The Jets would settle for a field goal on that possession and the Bills would hold a 24-20 lead. On the next drive, Ben Tate would take a rush in from about 1 yard out to give the Bills a 31-20 lead in the 4th quarter. With about 6 minutes left, the Jets would take a kickoff that almost went out of the end zone all the way into Bills territory. Luckily, the Bills would only give up a field goal to the Jets and the Jets would only be down 8. On the following possession, Stevie Johnson would make an outstanding play against Cromartie on a 3rd and 6 where he positioned his body just right to get the upper hand and come down with an amazing catch to give the Bills a 1st down and put them in field goal range. (This was one of two big 3rd downs converted on this drive, the other being a catch and run by Ryan Swope.) From there, the Bills would find Tashard Choice for the touchdown and a 15 point lead. The Jets would only have 1 time out with under 2 minutes to go to get a drive going. On there first series, the Bills got it to 4th and 2 and sent a timely outside blitz by the cornerback who would get to Geno Smith and sack him at his own 25 yard line. Ej manuel would take a few knees to get the big win at home and put the Bills in sole possession of 1st place in their division. EJ Manuel 14/18 230 yards 3 TD 0 INT 6 rushes 31 yards 1 TD CJ Spiller 11 rushes 76 yards 3 Rec 60 yards 1 TD Ben Tate 13 rushes 62 yards 1 TD
AFC North losers playing some loser ball en route to 6 total INTs and 1 fumble on the day. Anyway, enjoyable game Danthraxxx on the mic. Bengals RB Bernard played well and Browns QB Musgrove was off a cold streak for the first time in many weeks. Best of luck the rest of the way.
Yeah man good game , I would push and elderly woman holding a blind kitten down a flight of stairs to get Dalton off of a cold streak. Really hampering my team here And I can't even mention what I would do for a defense worth a shit lol
49ers - 36 Cardinals - 28 The 49ers and Cardinals played almost 3 full games for this as the first 2 DC'd in the 3rd and 4th quarters with the scores 13-14 and 31-31, so all of the games kinda blur together. The point is, all 3 were great games and i beat Baron gg man, i look forward to our next contest
Vikings Turn Off The Lights, Chargers Make It Close Minneapolis, MN-- The Vikings played some stifling defense for three quarters but their offense lagged behind as they built a 17-3 lead at the break. There were plenty of opportunities to create a blow out and put the Chargers away but Coach Boom wouldn't let that happen as SD played some good D and finally found some offense in the fourth quarter, entering the quarter at 24-10. Getting within seven points, the Vikings would eat clock take three points to push the margin back to ten. San Diego found the endzone rather quickly and their onside kick would fail, almost being returned for a TD and Minnesota would run out the clock. Yeah, good game. I think the game was over when you returned the kick for a TD after I had scored to close it to 17-10. I can't come back that many times.
shoot, I forgot about that... Yea, I remember saying I need a good drive to take back the MO and Patterson hits the spin move and then the lane to take it to the zone.
New England wins tough must-win at home vs Jacksonville. Jaguars would get some good play by Ben Gomez who would match Tom Brady throw for throw with both QB's ending up with 2 TDs and 1 INT a piece. Stevan Ridley would be the story as Ridley would run 22 times for 128 yards and add in 52 for Shane Vereen on 7 carries and the Patriots after Denard "Offensive Weapon" Robinson would break a run to tie the game up would get a good drive with 3 minutes left and get themselves into field goal range for Tanner Squirek who would hit from 40 yards and give the Patriots the win with no time left. gg bawvu97
