Air Force Notches 24-10 Road Win At Boise State
+ Some injury updates around the team.

The pro style offense is alive and well at Air Force, and senior HB Anthony LaCoste continues to come up big. The underrated senior (79 OVR) was a workhorse with 29 carries for 184 yards and 2 scores (Over half the offense on the day). On top of a stout running game, the Falcon defense was locked in; Boise State managed just 167 yards while turning over the ball twice. Air Force also committed a pair of turnovers, but they look to be heading in a better direction with the turnover differential- thanks to the change in offense, there are a lot more manageable third downs.

True freshman Andrew Weaver looked great leading the team, going a modest 6-11 for 80 yards and a TD, but he also threw a pick and fumbled on a sack (the latter not really his fault, he got blind sided). Weaver also had some nice runs out of some read option looks. Junior Broam Hart did a nice job of spelling LaCoste to the tune of 14 yards on 4 carries. To round out the offense, Marcus Hendricks led the team in the air with 4 catches for 69 yards including a 37 yard late TD that put the game away. Air Force tried all game to get the ball downfield, but just couldn't get the needed time in the pocket.

Overall this was as good a win as any on the year and the Falcons will, without a doubt, have a dilemma at QB when Jovan Alford comes back from his broken finger in a week or two. Inside scoop, many coaches are saying currently redshirted freshman Rian Wilson may be the team's best quarterback- this offseason is going to be a hell of a battle for the spot. The Falcons are also eyeing the return of freshman Adam Griffin to the defense within a month. A strained back has had him sidelined for the past few games and the freshman his hungry to get back on the field after a breakout game before he got injured. To round out the injury news, heralded freshman offensive lineman John Gibbs is doing well in rehab after dislocating his hip earlier in the year and should be, according to all accounts we've heard, good to go by the offseason.

But tomorrow i should be home after 3 pm but have a fantasy draft at 630. Free all night after that hopes this gives a window somewhere to play.

Aztecs Win the Ugliest Game in TSO History
    San Diego St. ( dj illmatic 23 )- 13
    at
    SMU ( fuzzyl0gic )- 10
In the ugliest, turnover plagued game in TSO history, the San Diego St. Aztecs defeated SMU in overtime 13-10. The two teams combined for 12 interceptions and only 53 rushing yards on 43 carries. The Aztecs scored their only TD when QB Ryan Dingwell ran it in from 26 yards on a read option. The Aztecs tacked on a FG with under a minute in the half to take a 10-0 lead. Despite dominating the SMU offense the entire first half, SDSU managed to allow the Mustangs to score in two plays to pull within a FG at half-time. The Mustangs tied the game up on their first possession of the second half. The rest of the game was filled with incomplete passes, penalties, and interceptions. The game went into overtime, and SMU threw an interception allowing the Aztecs to kick a FG for the win. The win makes SDSU 4-2 and 2-1 in the Big East. They host Temple next week. With the loss, SMU falls to 3-3 and 1-2 in the Big East. The Mustangs have a bye week to prepare for their trip to Fresno St. in two weeks.
    Offensive Player of the Week
Both teams combined for 12 turnovers, so NOBODY
    Defensive Player of the Game
    SDSU CB King Holder
    3 tackles/ 2 interceptions
    Play of the Game

Is it just Phil and Steamer left? I'm waiting for the advance to see if I moved up on this QB recruit's list! The suspense is killing me! ;)

    Nope. I don't believe so. :)

And I don't have anyone that can run the offense I want to run effectively. :\
