Minneapolis, MN - The Vikings made it 7 in a row to start the season, as they trampled the coach-less Kansas City Chiefs 34-7. Peyton Manning was sharp in the first half, and got the Chiefs out to a 7 point lead early in the 2nd quarter. However, the Viking D would impose its will from that point on, holding the Chiefs to a total of 158 yards on offense. Tony Romo was sharp again, going 16 of 20 for 208 yds. AP extended his rushing yardage lead, and finished the game with 133 yds on 24 carries in just 3 quarters of action. The Viking D finished with 6 sacks, 2 INTs and 2 FFs on the day.

Next up for the Vikings - rivalry game with the Pack.
