good game by clemson but they were just not talented enough for the tigers. week 1 was a succesful week with a big win and 2 commits in the espn U 150. we did lose our startin QB for a week but nothing we cant handle. looking forward to what week 2 has for us.
    GO LSU!!!!

Boise State Squeaks By #13 Penn State
Late 4th Quarter Rally Gets It Done 31-27

Boise State hosted Penn State to open the season. The post Kellen Moore era wasn't pretty but the team got it done. New QB Grant Hedrick led a TD scoring drive to open the game and make it 7-0 but Penn State always had an answer. The 2 teams essentially kept trading scores until late in the 3rd when the Nittany Lions would take control and push out to 27-17 lead. The pressure was on Hedrick to answer and he was able to come through for a TD drive with under 3 minutes remaining to make it 27-24. The Broncos, with 3 timeouts remaining, opted to kick off to Penn State. On 1st down, Boise State stuffed a running play and called a timeout. On 2nd down though, Penn State and QB Matthew McGloin made a horrible mistake. They would put the ball in the air and SS Jonathon Brown would intercept it and take it to the house for a TD and a 31-27 lead. Fortunately for Penn State, there were around 2 minutes remaining so they had plenty of time to attempt to regain the lead. They came close and got down inside of Boise State's red zone but were unable to score despite some very close plays.
