Miami Wraps up another week
Miami remembers GT from last year and this is basically the same team, led by QB Vlad Lee they knew it was going to be a run fest and that is what it was. Vlad Lee is a runner first and not comfortable in the pocket. DT Earl Moore took responsibility for this and recorded a team high 11 tackles. He was reading the QB and not letting Lee get comfortable back there in his read option or triple option looks. So with Miami's D on lock down the offense would have it pretty easy when you have the O Line and Duke Johnson. Duke went 22 carries 269 yards and 3 TDs. The holes he is getting is scary, with his speed and them holes it's very hard to contain some of the things he does. He licks his chops when he goes through these holes. Get him to the secondary and all he has to do is make one move and he's gone, sometimes no move is needed. Makes the job of QB easy although Ryan Williams did struggle on his decisions throwing 3 INTs. 2 of which led to scoring drives for GT. He's not a liability to the team rather he just had a bad game. He'll win us games when it comes down to it. He is a great player with great accuracy, we just don't always get him in the right situations at the right times and he makes some bad decisions at times. It'll buff out and work out in the end.

The Crimson Tide returned home from Baton Rouge to face the Miss State Bulldogs and hopefully continue their hold on first place in the SEC West. The Crimson Tide defense kept the Bulldogs offense bottled up all game as the Alabama offense methodically went about putting the Bulldogs away. The Crimson Tide got 123 yards rushing from Yeldon and McLeod threw for 173 yards while the Alabama defense held the Bulldogs to a 167 total yards.
LSU wins 27-21. A big scare in the 4th as Louisville scores 14 unanswered. It wasn't enough to overcome the 27-7 deficit. Anthony Jennings balled for 240 yards and 1 TD. Gerard Bryant went for 111 yards and 1 TD. Odell Beckham led the way receiving with 7 receptions for 81 yards and 1 TD. LSU bounces back with a 27-21 win.
