Ravens get number 10 and lead AFC North

One of Ed Reeds 2 interceptions
Ravens come up with another big win beating the leading Cleveland Browns 24-16. The player of the game was Ed Reed who came up with 2 big ints that lead to a score and then seal the deal. Flacco was very good throwing 2 TDs only 5 incompletions and the interception bug didnt bite him as he avoided throwing one today. The Ravens need 2 more wins and they will win the AFC North after starting the season 0-4.

Manning upset with benching for rest of year!
The Indianapolis Colts have no shot of making the playoffs and have decided to bench Manning for rest of year. Rumor is Manning is on the trading block and Colts want to see what they have in Horstman. Manning was asked about being on the trade block "I just hope to have someone want me to play"
In his first carrer start Horstman was amazing. Horstman was 24-29 376yds and 6tds. He found all his threats in this one. Colts win in Houston 45-20

    WELL DONE!
Bears Barbeque KC at Arrowhead 41-28

Another week, another Bears win. Winners of 6 of their past 7, the Bears are now 8-6 and 2 wins away from a playoff spot. Compared to where this team was 8 weeks ago, this turnaround is unbelievable. "We really were struggling, but look at what we did last year. Look at what we did in 2010. We know we can win, we just weren't doing it. Now we are." said Coach Lovie Smith to the media after the game.
Jay Cutler has been RED HOT recently, and today was no different. Jay's stats look like this: 23/36 354 yards 3 touchdowns and 1 interception on a great play by the Chiefs Brandon Carr. Cutler seems to be the key to this turnaround, the better he plays the better the Bears play. He has been a top 5 QB in HK the past 6 weeks, and if that continues the Bears will get their shot in the playoffs.
On the downside, the Bears star WR/Kick returner Devin Hester is out 4 weeks with an abdominal tear. Devin should be ready for the first round of the playoffs should the Bears find themselves there. Tough loss, but Earl Bennett and Sam Hurd are just going to have to step up.

    Broncos Can't Pull Off Upset
Vikings get their 11th win to clinch the NFC North, 17-10.

Percy is back to lead the charge for the Viking offense!
The Vikings would start out strong with a 17-0 lead over the Denver Broncos. Things were about to get ugly. We went into halftime thinking the game was in the bag. Not so fast, the Broncos would come out in the 2nd half and score 10 straight unanswered points. Just when the Broncos looked to have the game within a tie, Prince Justice would come up clutch as he has since starting for the Vikings to get his 6th interception of the year. Christian Ponder has horrible the last 4 games with 8 interceptions to just 4 touchdowns. After a very hot start, the kid has hit a slump. We think we have the solution. We'll see if it works in the next few weeks. Percy Harvin had a good game with 5 catches for 68 yards. Percy's ability to move the chains when we need was missing and is back now. The 1-2 punch of Adrian Peterson and Toby Gerhart also seems to be getting more play. AP finished the day with 94 yards rushing and 1 touchdown. AP was hurt and could not finish the game. After the interception by Prince, Toby came in and took the game over by running all over the Broncos to run the clock out. He finished the game with 84 yards on 11 carries.

    Salvaging A Season

Carolina continues their end of season streak by beating the Falcons 41-31 at home in the rain. The game was a back and forth affair, with Atlanta looking like they had the momentum after a pick six going into halftime. But the Panthers are a resilient team, and they continued to fight throughout the second half. Carolina caught a few breaks when Atlanta QB Matt Ryan overthrew some wide open wide receivers. Now the Panthers have a matchup with the Buccaneers and they still have an outside shot at the playoffs. GG G_T_G

    Titans Sweep Jags
    Score.PNG
Titans haven't had a problem with Maurice Jones-Drew this season as both games they have shut them down for a combined score of 3. Defense is the story in Tennessee as they have a big ROTY candidate SS Tim Mingley, a pair of great MLB's Ruud and McCarthy and a set of great CB's led by Finnegan and Verner. 'We have battled through injuries, we have overcome doubt, this is a squad of brothers that will get the job done' Although Jake Locker struggled today he still managed to hook up with TE Jared Cook Jr to put the game away which was huge. He may not have great stats but he can find a way to win. CJ had a huge run early for a TD but wasn't ever really looked at. Coach said it was due to trying to get Locker into a rhythm. We are still trying to get him on a roll and trying to get him ready for the playoffs. Titans need a win next week against Houston to have a complete sweep of the division!
