    Cincinnati vs Miami University (OH)
    Battle for the Victory Bell
Week 6 brought together two teams in the Cincinnati Bearcats and the Miami Redhawks located just 50 miles apart from each other. These teams have fought fiercely for the Victory Bell over 116 times, and this long-standing rivalry always breeds bad blood and competitive games each and every year they meet. This year would be no different.
Cincinnati appeared to have the game under control at the end of the first half, opening up a 17-3 lead over the host Redhawks with the Bearcat defense intercepting the ball 3 times and holding the host Redhawks to minimal opportunities for scoring. Cincinnati received the ball to start the secon d half and looked to put the game away with a scoring drive. How wrong they would end up being.
Munchie Legaux threw an interception on the second play of the opening second half drive that allowed the Redhawks to get on the board quickly thanks to a 4 yard TD pass from Nick Harwell to Austin Boucher, putting the Redhawks within one possession with 2 minutes left in the third quarter. Cincinnati managed to get on track two drives later, getting within the redzone after some big power runs courtesy of Jamaal Poteat. However, Legaux threw another interception within the ten yard line that virtually let the Redhawks back into the game. The Redhawks wasted no time scoring again, throwing a TD with a little over 2 minutes left in the game. Cincinnati received the ball but couldn't put up anything worthwhile, forcing them to punt and giving Miami possession at the 50 yard line with 50 seconds to go. The Bearcats defense couldn't get a stop, and a late rushing touchdown gave the Redhawks the victory, 24-17, putting them in possession of the Victory Bell for the first time since 2005.
