CLEMSON WINS BARNBURNER OVER LOUISVILLE
The Clemson football team had its hands full in a rematch with the 9th rated Cardinals. In their previous meeting a year ago the Tigers defeated them with running mostly a man scheme on defense. Coach Black knew that Coach Ry would probably be expecting that and a lot of read option. But Black went deep into thte playbook and came out in a 5 wide set and threw the ball all over the Cardinal D. Senior HB DJ Howard and soph HB sensation Zac Brooks toted the rock and kept the Cardinal unbalanced and off guard trying to stop the all of a sudden balanced Tiger offense. Most surprising to Coach Ry was probably the fact that the Tiger D ran a lot of zone defense that befuddled Lville QB Bridgewater forcing him to throw several INT's. Sammy Watkins was once again hard to stop hauling in a long TD catch. One of the crucial plays of the game was a goaline play where Tiger QB Chad Kelly went to pitch the ball to Howard. He was hit as he pitched and basically bounced pitched the football. However the luck was on the Tigers side as it bounced right to Howard who scooped it up and ran in for a TD. Clemson Ran away in the fourth quarter securing the 48-30 victory.
Good game Ryty

The Kentucky Wildcats arrived in Tuscaloosa looking for their 3rd win on the year but the Crimson Tide was not willing to play along as the Alabama offense and defense were too much for the Wildcats. After hanging close for a Qtr and only trailing 7-0 the Crimson Tide scored 14 points a Qtr for the next 3 Qtrs to pull away for an easy 49-10 win.
