The Colts came out firing in this one, on both sides of the ball. CB Chris Owens began the game with a pick 6, then Jabar Gaffney scored an 80 yard touchdown to go up 14-0 in the 1st quarter. In the 2nd quarter, things got out of hand for Houston. Indianapolis would put up 21 points, putting up 35 points at halftime. Houston couldn't get in rhythm on offense, and Matt Schaub threw 3 interceptions. Luck outplayed Schaub in this one, he was 13/18 with 300 yards and 3 TDs. 7 different players had a reception on only 13 completions. The Colts defense clamped down and held Arian Foster to less than 3 yards per carry. Robert Mathis had a sack, Chris Owens had all 3 interceptions for Indy, bringing his season total to 7. Houston had crazy pressure on Luck today, tallying up 4 sacks but not even that could force him to make a mistake. Rookie Nelson took a big hit and fumbled the ball, but made up for it with 2 TDs and 80 yards on the ground. Lamar Miller stepped in for a few home runs, and ended up with 3 carries for 33 yards.
