The Washington Redskins played the Arizona Cardinals today in this match up of NFL teams. The Redskins under their new Head Ball Coach for just the 2nd game of the season.

The Redskins came out running the ball and never let up. Ronnie Brown rushed for a season best 122 yards on 27 carries as the Redskins held the ball for 26 minutes of came action vs the Cardinals. While RG3 was an average 11 for 20 he did tac on 7 carries for 30 yards and 1 TD and 1 INt. Ronnie Brown dominated this game early and often as he had just 1 run that managed negative yards all game. Brown clearly the player of the game added 2 TDs for Washington as well as 2 catches for 26 yards and a catch on a 3rd and 6 that was awesome extending a Washington scoring drive.

The Cardinals offense came out flat only managing to score 7 points in the game as Vick was harassed early and often by the Redskins front 7. Early on the Redskins defense was very opportunistic with their turnover chances intercepting each of the Cardinals 3 early drives including a big time INT by DE Ryan Kerrigan. Kerrigan did not register a tackle he did manage a leaping interception while falling back wards of Mike Vick. Other players who added interceptions were 3rd string S Joe Lefeged and Rookie CB Dilen Davis his second game in a row with an interception.

This game was mostly about the Cardinals getting away from the run game early as they had some success however Vick threw an early pick that lead to them being in the hole 10-0 and they could never recover from the deficit.

    Redskins - 30
    Cardinals - 7

The Cards just couldn't stop the Redskins' offense. Vick didn't help things with his turnovers. The running game was working in the beginning but getting down early didn't help their cause. LSUTRUTH just completely dominated.
