Mississippi St. 14
#2 Miami 38
Another slow start for the Canes offense in this one. The first quarter had Miami on upset alert as Mississippi state had all of the momentum on both sides of the ball and they jumped out to an early 7-0 lead to end the first quarter. QB Dak Prescott was god like in his ability to break tackles and find the holes in the Miami defense, but like nearly every other game this season, once the Miami offense found its legs they bulldozed the opponent for a runaway victory. Freshman defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad had a great day with 3 sacks. Duke was Duke with 2 scores on the ground and 1 KR TD. Ryan Williams managed the game well and eventually we were able to bring in the back ups.
