Ranking Team Record RPI Comments
#1 [IMG] Cincinnati Bengals 14-2 .601 Tough loss to the Jets in the AFC Championship game. Despite losing their head coach to Seattle, there is still plenty of promise for the future of this team as long as Dalton and Green are around. Someone could come in and easily be a contender from day 1.
#2 [IMG] St. Louis Rams 14-2 .573 Clearly not going anywhere any time soon despite a tough Super Bowl loss. The Rams continue to reload with a great Free Agency period, and if the past continues to hold true, expect a great draft.
#3 [IMG] New York Jets 13-3 .563 The Jets didnt lose anyone major to Free Agency, which is good considering they dont have a 1st. I guess when you win the Super Bowl with little turnover in the following offseason, there is little to worry about anyway.
#4 [IMG] New Orleans Saints 12-4 .561 It will interesting to see how the loss of Roman Harper and Darren Sproles will affect the Saints long term, especially after trading their 2nd round pick away in a highly controversial move.
#5 [IMG] Tennessee Titans 11-4-1 .555 A great rebound season for the Titans, finishing 11-4-1. The real question for them is can they continue to improve, or will they fall back into another slump?
#6 [IMG] Baltimore Ravens 11-5 .551 With the Bengals coaching job continuing to be vacant, things are starting to swing heavily in the Ravens favor. They have to be considered the odds on favorite to win the AFC North in Season 4.
#7 [IMG] Cleveland Browns 9-7 .541 The fact that 9-7 was only good enough to finish dead last in the AFC North, speaks volumes to the strength of their division. Will a move to Cutler at quarterback be enough to propel the Browns to the top of the division?
#8 [IMG] Houston Texans 10-6 .539 A strong 10-6 after a disasterous Season 2 brings promise for the future, especially with three picks in the first round in the upcoming draft. Expect the Texans to continue to improve, especially in the ever improving AFC South.
#9 [IMG] Pittsburgh Steelers 10-6 .536 The Steelers are quiet possibly the most hot and cold team in HK. The good news for them, they always seem to get hot in the playoffs. The big question for them is, can the aging squad continue to improve after another draft with no 1st or 2nd round pick.
#10 [IMG] Indianapolis Colts 9-7 .530 Despite the 9-7 finish, the Colts are quietly one of the more consistent teams in HK. It will be interesting to see where they go draft wise. They're going to need some help to compete in that division.
#11 [IMG] Tampa Bay Buccaneers 12-4 .529 The Bucs are another team that quietly continues to just win games. I for one cant wait to see the outcome of the epic showdowns on the horizon between the Saints and Bucs.
#12 [IMG] San Francisco 49ers 10-6 .525 Its hard to continue 10-6 a down year, but for the super talented 49ers squad, it essentially was. Another offseason of virtually no FA moves and building solely through the draft is upon us. Will it finally pay in Season 4?
#13 [IMG] Oakland Raiders 9-7 .518 The Raiders look to finally be on the upswing. Despite the not so great 9-7 record, they were able to win the division and make the playoffs for the first time all release. Expect Oakland to continue to sit atop the very weak AFC West for the immediate future.
#14 [IMG] Minnesota Vikings 9-7 .517 Despite a disappointing week 17 loss to the Cardinals that all but crushed their playoff hopes, things are looking up for the Vikings. A strong draft could easily propel Minnesota to the top of the NFC North.
#15 [IMG] Green Bay Packers 9-7 .507 Even though they won the division in Season 3, things weren't pretty for the Packers. It will be interesting to see how the loss of Jordy Nelson affects their playoff chances in Season 4.
#16 [IMG] San Diego Chargers 8-8 .507 The hot start in Season 2 continues to look more and more like a fluke.
#17 [IMG] Denver Broncos 6-10 .496 The Broncos benefit greatly from being in the weak AFC West. Despite a 6-10 finish, they could easily be division contenders next season if they can sure up a few holes.
#18 [IMG] Jacksonville Jaguars 7-8-1 .494 A strong finish after a very poor start. If the Jaguars can get Mapa back to his Season 2 form, expect a quick turnaround in Jacksonville.
#19 [IMG] Detroit Lions 8-8 .494 Not too shabby of a finish at 8-8 after losing Stafford in Week 1. The Lions are my favorite to win the NFC North in Season 4 at this point.
#20 [IMG] New York Giants 9-7 .490 A new coach is already paying dividends in New York as they landed Daryl Washington via trade. I for one don't expect the Giants go relinquish their grip on the division in Season 4.
#21 [IMG] Carolina Panthers 8-8 .488 The stock is definitely rising on the Panthers as they finished with their first .500+ record of the release in Cam 2.0's rookie season. With the plethora of picks in the upcoming draft, all things are pointing up in Carolina.
#22 [IMG] Arizona Cardinals 8-8 .485 Despite an 8-8 finish, the Cardinals clearly have some holes. The secondary and passing game definitely need some help if Arizona expects to be able to compete in the hyper competitive NFC West.
#23 [IMG] Atlanta Falcons 6-10 .478 After officially losing their head coach, Atlanta is quickly slipping into irrelevancy, especially in a division with two of the top teams in the NFC.
#24 [IMG] Dallas Cowboys 5-11 .467 Finally securing a head coach, the Cowboys are on the upswing. The real question is can Hurns recover and return to his ROTY form?
#25 [IMG] Seattle Seahawks 5-11 .466 Despite a rough season the Seahawks have some pieces in place to make a move in Season 4. Landing one of the top coaches in the league in a surprising move doesnt help either. The defense is solid, but after trading away Russell Wilson, the direction the offense is going is a mystery.
#26 [IMG] Washington Redskins 5-11 .461 The Redskins finally get to draft with a first round pick, which at this point, they desperately need.
#27 [IMG] New England Patriots 5-11 .460 Yet another coaching change in New England brings even more mystery. Securing Hernandez was a great move, but big holes still remain on defense.
#28 [IMG] Buffalo Bills 4-12 .450 It will be interesting to see how things play out draft wise for the Bills after tagging Spiller. Some bad contracts continue to loom over the franchise though.
#29 [IMG] Kansas City Chiefs 2-14 .431 Will yet another top 5 pick finally help the Chiefs turn the corner?
#30 [IMG] Philadelphia Eagles 3-13 .417 There are talks that the Eagles will finally get their head coach back full time. Lets hope thats true as they desperately need it.
#31 [IMG] Chicago Bears 1-15 .416 After letting Cutler walk, its obvious where the Bears are headed with their #1 pick. Lots hope the trend of playing top draft pick QBs immediately continues to work, otherwise there may be riots in the streets of Chicago.
#32 [IMG] Miami Dolphins 3-13 .413 Many expected the Tannehill experiment to end in Miami, but questions remain as he continues to hold a roster spot. The bigger question is, can Miami free up enough cap space to be able to utilize their draft picks?
