    MWC 2011/2012 CHAMPIONS: AIR FORCE
    [IMG][IMG]

Coach Noffke led Air Force to its third straight MWC Championship. In the program’s history Air Force has only been conference champions 3 times prior. Coach Noffke has taken this football program to a level that it has never been to before.
Though it was not a perfect season, Air Force had its struggles against rival CSU and New Mexico. After the loss to rival CSU, the athletic director considered firing the offensive coordinator. However, Coach Noffke ensured that the offense was going to be run the way that it is intended to be and finished the season on a very strong note. After several firings in the MWC, Air Force found themselves at the top in the conference, plus with a little help from other teams. Air Force finished out the season with 3 very close wins against Top 25 opponents.

The offense continued to put up big numbers on the ground and the passing game was productive when needed.

The very young defense struggled at times but then showed signs of promise at other times. Coach Noffke is really excited about the defense and what the future holds for them.

Also, in 2012 Air Force took recruiting the next level. The football recruiters put in countless hours and many trips to bring in top tier talent. Air Force is on pace to having one of its best recruiting classes ever.

Coach Noffke is on pace to becoming the top coach of the decade after three excellent seasons and a 36-3 record since taking over Air Force in 2010.

    SUGAR BOWL SCORE:
    Air Force: 28
    Michigan: 27

11-2 Final Record, 6-2 in MWC, Sugar Bowl Victory
