    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Great inaugural game of this year's Serie B. A match-up against two solid teams on defense. The game was a back and forth contest where both teams had scoring chances and there wasn't a real dominant of the ball. The first goal would come in the 34' minute on a rebound from Wolves goalie that ended on Neymar's feet who was able to put it inside the net after two tries. The tie would come in the second half on a shot from, man of the match, K. Henry. The rest of the game would be a nail bitter as Santos would hit at least one shot on Wolve's post and a couple of one-on-one situations would be denied by Wolves' keeper. The tie was almost a done deal, but on the 90' minute, Elano would start a counter attack from the middle who crossed it wide to Ibson (2nd half sub) who quickly passed it to Borges (newly aquired this season) in front of the goal. Ibson would finish it with a beautiful one touch for the 2-1 lead.

Highlight of the 90th minute goal. I saved all 3 goals, but on EA's website all three of the highlights were of the same replay. Weird that it also only saved 3 seconds.

Good game GoDevils, keep up the good work . I had a hard time breaking through your defense, and you almost came back and got points in the dying moments.

Clean Sheet: Samir Handanovic - 1 Save

Udinese opened the season strong with a 4-0 win over Stoke City. Antonio Di Natale was responsible for all 4 goals, netting two in each half. The scoring opened in the 26th minute as Pablo Armero played Di Natale through for a breakaway, and the striker finished cleanly, banking it in off the far post. He would strike again just two minutes later, again from Armero and this time on a quick volley off a cross, again banking it in off the post. Peter Crouch almost got one back for Stoke, but Handanovic made a great save off of a header from a corner. Di Natale would go back to work in the second half, cleaning up two more goals to give Udinese a 4-0 win.

Good Game Go Devils , good luck moving forward.

Two lucky goals. Wish it had the 3rd goal highlight...just snuck it in. Hit the post and bounced in, not much room. The 4th was a break away by Martins who is so fast. I nearly gave up what would've have tied it at 3. Helluva game.

Clean Sheet: Samir Handanovic - 9 Saves

Udinese survived a steady onslaught from Rubin Kazan to pick up their second win of the season. The 3-0 score may look lopsided, but the shot totals provide a better insight of what happened in the game. Udinese packed in the defense, willing to give up the shot from range, and attacked quick on the counter attack. After picking up an early goal from Antonio Floro Flores, Udinese spent much of the next hour protecting that lead before Kwadwo Asamoah snuck through on a pass from Antonio Di Natale to double the lead, and Di Natale added one himself in the final minutes. Samir Handanovic was lights out all game, finishing with 9 saves and awarded Man of the Match with a perfect 10.0 rating.

Good Game Cimmy24 , can't believe you didn't get at least one, could've had more than that. Good luck going forward

A much needed result for Wolves following a criushing 90th minute defeat in Matchday 1 in a game they were dominated in. They felt like the better side in this game but obviously still very sloppy in the back as Udinese had a few more chances on goal in on the keeper. Some timely finishing from strike Kevin Doyle really got the Wolves back in the game after conceding first in the 30th on a cool finish from Di Natale. The Wolves were able to get the go ahead goal right before half as Ebanks-Blake buried a shot. Ebanks-Blake narrowly missed a few other chances. The game was sealed on an unfortunate own goal from Udinese.

Di Natale just went beast mode on me. :) You had some nice benders on goal... sorry to shuffle the scoring leaders to everyone else by letting this Prince score so many. But he is just nasty. You certainly have made up for some key losses during the summer. God I love Asamoah (could be the next big thing in England IMO) and Armero though. Good game!

Wolves took the full 3 points in their matchup with Corinthians. Probably the Wolves most impressive performance of the young campaign. They finish matchweek 1 at 2-0-1 and haveto feel as if they are hitting their stride with the last two wins. Matt Jarvis was spectacular for the Wolves in this one as he had his hand in all 3 of the Wolves goals. He led off the scoring in the 6th minute after several blocked shots put the ball on his foot to finish the job. Corinthians answered back with a good finish from Liedson, but that was the only shot on target Corinthians would Tally. Ebanks-Blake took the GWG in the 50th on a solid strike after a great pass from Jarvis. Jarvis completed the brace and put the game out of reach when he wiggled his way through the box and buried one in the 74th.

Good game Nik, Corinthians scores later in the second half to secure their only victory of the first week of matches. Looks like its going to be a tough year for the group. Inability to finish when given chances seems to still haunt the former Sampdoria owner mustang.
