Keeping my same offensive playbook (Multiple set using Shotgun, Strong I, Weak I, I, little bit of Ace and only the Cross out of the Pistol).

    Defensive playbook is the 3-4.

O: Air Raid Custom PB, with a I and strong running formations, singleback, and of course wishbone for short yardage and goaline. But I will live in the shotgun this season.

I will also be using no huddle for the most part.

    D: 3-4

Custom playbook based on NM State with a little pistol and a Maryland I for short yardage situations.

Offense :: Custom Playbook (Mixture of Ace, I-Form, Strong, Weak, and Shotgun: Pretty much a Pro-Style)
    Defense :: 3-3-5

Offense: custom with mostly I-form with a little ace (I think I took pistol out, but can't remember) and shotgun
Deffense: Switching to 4-2-5 because of personnel

    Jman for your approval

    Defense: Multiple

Custom offense playbook using a "multiple" base. My philosophy here is run first with a healthy dose of the option, but still have some throwing ability when the need arises (hence the multiple). I have no 4 WR sets, I have 28 formations total, only 7 of them have 3 wide, all others have 2 or less. I do have 1 empty set which is 2 TE and 3 WR (only 3 plays in that one). Below is a breakdown by formation type with the number of plays available for each set in parenthesis

    ACE
    Big (12)
    Big Twins (15)
    Bunch (12)
    Slot (12)

    FLEXbox One
    Close (15)
    Normal (21)
    Tackle Over (6)
    Twins Over (12)

    FULL HOUSE
    Normal Wide (6)

    I FORM
    Normal (12)
    Twins (15)

    MARYLAND I
    Tight (3)
    Wide (9)

    POWER I
    Strong (6)

    SHOTGUN
    Ace (12)
    Ace Twins (9)
    Empty Ace (3)
    Split Y Flex (9)
    Trio HB Weak (12)
    Trips Y Flex (6)
    Y Trips (15)

    STRONG I
    Slot (6)

    WISHBONE
    Normal (12)
    Tight (9)
    Wide (12)

also, the goal line set for this team is a power I tight and not the 3 TE goal line that most teams have

I have Hawaii in GMangs 2* league and changed their offense to pro style the first season. I'm just gonna let you know in advance that doing that without a TE or FB on the roster was a bad idea but if you want to try to turn that Run and Shoot squad into a running team then be my guest.

Well.... entering year 4 they have 1-2 TE and a FB on the roster plus the CPU signed 3 TEs and 1 FB (2 of the TEs are 3* which is good considering) plus my QB and WRs are pretty weak so I think I will have better luck focusing on the run, mind you I am trying a bunch of new forms in this O so I could stink, time will tell

I have changed my playbook up for S4 and am posting it here so I don't forget. If the S4 thread is made, I will move it over there. Basically running a Spread Option look, with a fair amount of pro looks from the Ace and I formations.
    Defense shall remain 3-4

    Ace:
    Big
    F Wing Trips
    Twin TE

    I Form:
    Normal
    Twin TE
    Twins
Tight (Is now the Goal line formation)

    Strong:
    Normal
    Twins

    Shotgun:
    Normal
    Normal Flex Wk
    Normal Flex Wing
    Normal Wing Wk
    Trio HB Wk
    4-WR Trio
    4-WR Trio Str
    Slot F Wing
    Wing Offset
    Y-Trips HB Wk
    Wing Offset Wk
    Wing Offset
    Wing Trips Wk
    Wing Trio Wk
    Split Offset
    Split Twins
    Split Y-Trips
    Regular Wildcat
    Wildcat T Over
    Wildcat Spread
    Spread Flex

EDIT: Ok, so after talking in the General TSO Coaching thread, found out that Clemson was a WAY better base playbook and went through and altered some selections as well. The above list should reflect that. Last change for S4, I swear!

Haha you have no idea. The thing was, I liked Tressel Ball, and I do run a fair amount of the I and Ace formations to balance things off and keep the D off balance, but the idea of seeing Braxton and Meyer and the kinda athletes he'll get in a year or two... that has me salivating.

I can't say this is verbatim, but after Ron Zook's first year at Illinois a reporter asked him what the difference between the SEC and Big 10 was and his reply was something to the effect of "The Big 10 has big athletes, the SEC has big athletes that are fast"

Yea but Urban Meyer has always recruited above his universities' norms. And he'll still have ties to Florida.

And I saw that, lol. It's his dream job, can't blame him.

I was sitting about 12 feet from him at a press conference a few years ago when he was asked about going somewhere else and he said "Why would I do that, I'm already at the best place in the country. If there's a better place then tell me, cuz I want to be there" . . . He's a fruit cake

    1. Which is why he had buyout exemptions in his contract for Notre Dame, Michigan and... wait for it... Ohio State. 2. Person in position of power lies! In other news, bear is Catholic, Pope shits in woods.

Well Urban Meyer disagrees on that point, and his opinion on that is slightly more valuable than yours. To the tune of about four million a year more valuable. :D
