Eagles visit the Big easy in a shootout.

Eagles start with the ball and drive with ease to open the game with an early score. On the ensuing kickoff, Lance Moore would return the ball to the house and tie the game. 7-7 early and the scoring would go back and forth in the first quarter. Rookies J. Myers and Ledbetter would have an epic battle for the victory. At half-time the score was 27-10 Saints. Myers was responsible for a lot of up-and-down play. He would hit on a deep bomb only to follow it with a crucial interception.

In the 3Q the Eagles scored 15 unanswered points to close the gap and put pressure back on the other rookie Patrick Ledbetter. He responded by putting up a 146.2 passer rating on the day and help hold off the Eagles. This was by far his best game as a rookie. Myers was equally impressve by throwing for 395 yards, 5 TD, and 3 Ints. A lot of the completions were deep bombs, which is why the yardage numbers are high. He was a beast basically all game. The difference was the Saints running and Special Teams.

Game Ball went to Ledbetter... because he didn't throw an INT.

    FINAL 36-48 SAINTS WIN
