    Tennessee Wins 31-21 at home
Clash of two running teams, or so you would think. Titans came in to the game ready to stop the run, knowing that AP was out but still thought Gerhart would be the workhorse. On the first play of the first drive Ponder would drop back and throw it right to SS Timothy Mingley who would walk in for a TD. Mingley would say that the throw was a surprise, we practiced all week on stopping the run. Titans would get that early lead and rely on the D. We have a great D and rely on them to step up every game to do their jobs. CJ would put up a 48 yard run that helped push the lead to 14-0. It was a zig zag run cutting in and out breaking loose. On the next kickoff Percy Harvin would come close to breaking it for a TD making it to midfield. 'We feared his speed all game, offensively we felt like we contained him, on special teams their were multiple times he about broke it and could have changed the game' They would later score on a Jordy Nelson 12 yard reception. After a horrible performance from the offense, the Viking Offense would get a shot to tie it up going into half. They put together a great drive and tied the game up 14-14 after a Toby Gerhart TD run from the goal line. Titans would get the ball on offense and put together a killing drive that killed the clock. Chris Johnson would take off one more time and put together another 200 yard performance.

Titans feel that with AP on the sideline it helped them out a lot. All in all it was a great game and this game puts Titans even further ahead in the division. AFC South is believed to be Titans to lose this year.

    Denver Broncos 27 - Oakland Raiders 24
    Oakland, CA.

In a battle between division foes, the Broncos visited the Raiders and wanted to maintain the division lead in the AFC West with a victory. And they did just that. They came in with the game plan to stop Darren McFadden and force Terrell Pryor to throw it, and they did just that. Limiting McFadden to 76 yards rushing on only 10 carries, of which, 38 yards were gained on 1 carry. The Broncos held the Raiders to a 3-and-out on the opening possession and then drove down the field and opened up the scoring with a 2 yard TD run by Knowshon Moreno, to make it 7-0 Broncos after 1. The Raiders and Broncos traded field goals in the 2nd quarter so the Broncos held the lead 10-3 at the half and were receiving the 2nd half kick.
In the 2nd half, the Broncos were driving when Mark Sanchez left a throw to the inside of Demaryius Thomas and Webb picked it off and returned it for a Raiders TD to tie the score at 10. On their next possession the Broncos went 3-and-out and had to punt it back to the Raiders, and after only a few plays, McFadden burst through the left side and scampered 38 yards for another Raider TD to make the score 17-10 Raiders with just under 2 minutes left in the 3rd. But the Broncos would answer right back as Sanchez found his TE Virgil Green on an out route and he broke a tackle and ran 66 yards to the end zone to tie it back up, 17-17 with :52 left in the 3rd. In the 4th, Terrell Pryor threw an INT, as Champ Bailey leaped up and picked off the pass. The Broncos couldn't do anything, however, and had to punt. After a short drive, Terrell Pryor threw another INT, his 3rd of the day, this time it was the LB out of UCLA, Rahim Moore who picked him off and ran it 18 yards into Raiders territory. The Broncos then pounded the rock with Moreno, and converted a key 3rd and short with the FB Honeycutt. With time approaching the 2 minute warning, the Raiders took a timeout with 2:13 to play, and the Broncos had a 3rd and 1 on the Raiders 6. The Broncos came out looking to run, overloading the right side, but the coach dialed up a slant route to Brandon Lloyd who caught it for a 6 yard TD to put the Broncos up 24-17 with 2:10 to play in the contest. On the Raiders next play, Terrell Pryor couldn't find anyone open so he decided to scramble, but DE Robert Ayers caught him from behind and forced a fumble, and none other than Mr. Bronco himself, Champ Bailey, jumped on it for the recovery. The Broncos then ran the ball up the middle 3 straight times, and on 4th and 1, they decided to kick a Matt Prater 34 yard FG to put them up by 2 scores with 1:50 left in the game and the Raiders out of timeouts. The Broncos went into prevent defense, and Pryor led the Raiders down the field, running for 1st downs 3 times, and then he caught the Broncos offsides deep in Denver territory, and with the free play, he threw a TD pass to DHB from 8 yards out and :30 left to play. The Raiders needed the onside kick to have a chance as they were out of time outs, but the Broncos recovered, then Sanchez took a knee to escape Oakland with the victory. The Broncos are now riding a 4 game win streak, and are 4-1 under their new head coach.

Broncos record now 6-4 while the Raiders drop to 4-6 on the year.
Up next for the Broncos is a home game against the Chiefs, and the Raiders will have to travel down to San Diego to battle the Chargers.

    Where Did That Come From.........

Seattle- For once this season, The New York Jets can say that the offensive side of the ball was the difference in the game. HB's Jonathan Stewart and Octvious Hardy combined for 300yds + rushing in the game against the Seattle Seahawks. Despite two first half fumbles in the first half by Stewart, he still managed to gain 128 yds and find the endzone 2 times. Fellow rookie runner Hardy just went off; gaining 204yds on just 15 carries with 1 score. The tandem thus far this season has rushed for over 1700yds and 20 td's for The Jets. The defense played solid against a tough running back in Marshawyn Lynch, but held the Hawks QB to just 121yds on 8 of 21 passing with 2 ints. The win puts the Jets at 9-1 on the season. Next up, a rematch with The Dolphins in Miami!

Patriots Squeak By Bills For 2nd Win Of The Season

With pretty much no shot at the playoffs left, the Patriots came into this game hoping to just show that they aren't as bad as their record says. It ended up being a great game between 2 tough teams.
The Bills jumped out to a lead on their 1st possession with a TD pass to Stevie Johnson with about 35 YAC on the play. Meanwhile, the Patriots were struggling mightily on offense early in this game. Benjarvus Green-Ellis was able to keep the Patriots moving forward but the passing game just wasn't there. The Patriots were finally able to put some points up on the board after being stopped in the Bills' red zone late in the 2nd quarter and closed it to 7-3. However, the Bills and Eli Manning were able to construct a great 2 minute drive marching down the field and getting a TD right before halftime pushing their lead to 14-3.
The 2nd half was all Patriots though. Most importantly, the Patriots were able to shut down the Bills' offense in the 2nd half and not allow any points. That gave them the shot to be able to come back in this game. Then the running game and passing game started to improve after 6 straight wretched quarters going back their game last week against the Jets. Neither side had many long runs in this game but Green-Ellis was able to break away towards the end of the 3rd quarter for a 31 yard TD run making it 14-10. The 2 teams would trade possessions after this but Tom Brady would finally get his chance to show off his 2 minute offense. The Patriots were able to drive 80 yards and, on 3rd and long, Brady hit Ochocinco on an out route at the 3 yard line that he was able to turn and run up field into the end zone. This gave the Patriots a 17-14 lead with just 13 seconds remaining. However, with the soft coverage the Bills were managed to get into FG position with just 1 second remaining. On a 54 yard attempt, Rian Lindell was unable to push the game to OT and would come up 5 yards short.
