    Titans win 29-22
This game was a true tester for the Titans as they were going to face arguably the most dominant defensive linemen in the league. Titans first quarter proved to them why they absolutely cannot throw the ball. Jake Locker had 3 interceptions in the first quarter that set the lions up with great field position and a few yards to go. Don't get me wrong this offense could have probably pushed it down the D and when they had a lot of field to cover they did a great job pushing it down the field. But the factor in the game was poor poor offense from Lions in the redzone. Kicker Rob Bironas, ex titan, currently overpaid, but in today's game he hit 5/5 all were short range and any grade school kicker could have made those so no props to the ex titan on that. A lot of disgust was showed towards Locker throughout the game, he put the titans in a whole VERY fast. Coach put all trust on CJ's legs, work the ball down and he fumbles. Coach was seen shaking his head and maybe even shed a few tears. With Chris Johnson back their you can't go away from him. This offensive line proved today that we can run on anyone and in fact they have all year but today's game gave them hopes that even in an all out blitz they can take off for big gains, many times today. Locker on the other hand needs a some time to throw the ball, he was rushed, sacked and torn to shreds by this d-line. Coach said after the game that he is a mobile QB we like to try a lot of pocket passes, this may change cause he is not comfortable in the pocket. We will work with him. But let's not get away from Chris Johnson, he had 301 yards and 2 td on 22 carries. He gave all credit to the line, without them i'd be nothing but hurt. He put the game away on a 88 yard untouched dive up the middle, he had a lot of movement through the hole but was never touched, this run put them up 27-22 and they went for 2 to make it a 7 point lead and then forced Lions to punt the ball, Titans would get the ball and run the rest of the clock out.
Now 11-3 winning 9 in a row. Don't expect backups quite yet, they are going for the first round bye. Cleveland is still in the race win or lose, Raiders will get full force Titans all game next week. Playoffs Clinched but not First Round Bye

    Battle For The North
Vikings take revenge on Bears in OT, 38-35.

This was a battle that went down to the wire. The Bears took a 17-0 lead and we thought this game was over. What was thought to be a long night turned into a nightmare for the Bears. As they watched the Vikings claw and climb back to make it a game. Christian Ponder made it hard for the Vikings as he threw 2 pick sixes and another pick that gave them great field position. However, things started to change right before halftime. The Vikings scored to make it 17-7. Then Matt Forte was crunched by Taylor Mays and the ball fell into the Vikings' hands. The game went back and forth in the second half. We found ourselves down by 10 a couple of times. We just kept fighting and fighting. The story of the game was how the Bears couldn't stay healthy. The Bears lost linebackers and that hurt them in the end. Chris Ivory ran 27 times for 168 yards and 3 touchdowns. Toby Gerhart ran 9 times for 24 yards also.
In OT, the Vikings managed to stop the Bears and force a punt. Chris Ivory and Toby Gerhart were called upon to pound the rock. Ivory got us into field goal position and Ryan Longwell made the game winning field goal.

    A Clinching Victory!
Panthers wrap up the NFC South with a win against the Saints

The Panthers played a tough and determined New Orleans Saints team today in the Superdome. QB Peyton Manning was on fire throwing for 436 yards and 4 TDs. It seemed like Manning was back in his glory days versus the Panthers. Cam Newton was able to engineer key drives behind the legs of DeAngelo Williams and Reggie Bush. Bush would gain 123 yards against his former team, including an 80+ yard run for a touchdown. The defense was in a bend don't break mentality all afternoon and it nearly cost them. Good game DerekC you will be extremely tough next year. Let's hope you don't have crazy injuries.
