Baltimore's continued goal in 2014 is to try and rinse the bad taste that was 2013 out of their mouth. The certainly took a step in the right direction against the Broncos. Dominating on both sides of the ball from wire to wire, this was never a contest. Joe Flacco (28-37, 316 yds, 4 TDs) looked like the QB we thought he would be after the first four years of his career. Byron Steele (11 rec, 123 yds, 2 TDs) continues to amaze and fulfill the promise that comes with being first overall. Boy, oh boy, is this defense hungry. Haloti Ngata (7 tkl, 5 sacks) is cementing himself firmly in the discussion for defensive player of the year with this breakout performance. Tough day for Brock Osweiler (3-11, 14 yds, 1 int), he was sacked a ridiculous 12 times. This team feels much different than last year and much of it is due to a new attitude. Never again.
