Rams Use Big Plays and Stone Hands from Bears Receivers to Claim 3rd W of SeasonBeat Bears 38-20 St Louis, Missouri The Rams were able to use some big plays to get the W this week. They had 3 TDs of 79 yards or more, with Bradford connecting on two passes of 79 yards to Danario Alexander and an 80 yarder to Collie, while Steven Jackson took one in from 88 yards as he split right through the Bears defense. Steven Jackson would end the day with 188 yards and 3 touchdowns as he looks to have reclaimed the starting role on this offense. Matt Forte only had 52 yards on the ground, but was a straight menace to the Rams defense in the pass game, catching 5 balls for 154 yards and really tearing up the Rams coverage tonight. The play of the game came from Forte's first TD, as he was able to catch the ball in traffic, spin, and juke his way around would-be defenders become racing towards the endzone and just barely getting in. The highlight of that is below:
Colts Defense plays big Colts offense struggled this week as Minnesota came out and played some great defense. This game was a complete defensive battle as neither team really lit up the scoreboard. The colts defense held Adrian Peterson to 37yds and 1td on 22attempts including on 1st and goal from the 1 where Minnesota had to kick a fg to end the half after AP was stuffed 3 straight times. Cox was not much better as he ran 20times for 83yds 1 td and one run was 54yds. Whitney lead colts recieving with 5rec 62yds and Harvin lead vikings with 6rec 136yds before going down with an injury. Diggs got another pick this week and so did 2nd yr cb Scott. Rookie DT Lloyd really dominated the interior of the line. Lloyd was 4-4 on fg this week with 25,27,48,48. Colts win 19-10 and move to 4-0 and play Da Bears next week.
JACKSON AND ROMO LEAD BROWNS PAST EAGLES, 35-17
Romo makes a throw that was not in the Browns arsenal the last two seasons.
CLEVELAND, OH -- In his first game against his old team, Desean Jackson did his best to make the Eagles regret letting him go. Jackson returned a kickoff 102 yards for a score and caught a huge 60 yard TD pass from Romo to lead the Browns to a 35-17 win over the Eagles to move to 3-1 on the season.
Tony Romo completed 16-25 passes for 229 yards passing and 4 touchdowns in his second career start with the Browns. There is no doubt that Romo has made a huge difference in the offense. Since he took over, the offense is averaging 40 points per game and has looked unstoppable. Most Browns fans are giving the credit to a lowly Chicago reporter who writes a column called "Random Thoughts". In the article, the nameless writer basically challenged the Browns GM's abilities by telling him that Colt McCoy was "pure garbage" and that the Browns needed to move on. Even though GM Ryty will not admit it publicly, the article may have been the push that he needed to make the change. Whatever the reason, the Browns look like a different team now that Romo is at the helm.

Titans Lose 27-21 at Home
The fans boo as the Titans left for halftime as they went into the locker room down 14-0 and no signs of an offensive attack and very little sign of a defensive showing. The team had a hard time overall says coach, 'people are going to question Jake but having no help from the offensive line is brutal' nothing was opening up for either Chris Johnson nor giving the time for Jake to make smart throws. Jake had to improvise and use his feet a couple of times as the offensive line crumbled. 'Jake's use of his legs really helps out the o-line, and of course give CJ a split second gap he will find it. Our team will struggle, but we are improving, Jake's 3 int's and 1 fumble is bad and we simply will not win like that, I sat him down after the game and explained to him that he needs to figure something out and he is a pivotal player on the team'. Locker needs to understand he has Colston and Britt, get it in the area and not necessarily in the other player's arms. Titans are disappointed but they left the field with head held high as 2nd half was a 21-13 showing, with 2 great drives led by Locker and he did break 200 yards passing!
Jaguars Blow Late Lead, Lose to Lions 24-14
Post Game Press Conference
-Question 1: What did Detroit do differently at the end of the game to be able to move the ball and score to take the lead?
-They just executed better then we did that last drive. Part of it's on me for not calling the right plays on defense.
Question 2: Did you think Calvin Johnson got both feet down in the endzone?
-Well I didn't think so at first but the refs reviewed it and I guess he got both feet down.
Question 3: Offensively you guys aren't playing the best right now, what can you do to fix it?
-Execute better, it all starts with me, setting the guys up in good positions to make plays. We would have like to be able to run the ball better today but thats my fault for only running the ball 11 times.
