The game was not as close as the score looks we took our foot off late. 2 late TD made it look closer than it was. We ran the ball well and passing was efficient.

still trying to figure this out so bare with me until i get the hang of it.
Well the score looks better than what the game was. For some reason we struggled with the run game. which is not good for a running team. we had to put the load on mettenberger's back and he come through throwing for 300 yards and a touchdown. Our defense could not force a turnover. We have got to get better if we want to do anything this season. The team is looking forward to MSU and is looking to work out a few kinks. WE WILL GET BETTER!!!!

Wisconsin Rebounds With Big Win Over Undefeated Jayhawks

After a tough loss to #1 Auburn, the Badgers needed to win to stay in the hunt for the National Championship. In came the upset minded and undefeated Kansas Jayhawks which could be a tough game for the Badgers.

Wisconsin got the ball first and would drive down the field but would stall. True freshmen kicker Dusty Olson, came out and connected on a 51 yard FG to take the lead. The Jayhawks' first drive was similar though. They were able to move the ball and ended up tying the game with a long FG of their own.

In the 2nd quarter, the Badgers took control of the game. However, it wasn't behind the arm of QB Jon Budmayr. Budmayr was knocked out of the game with a concussion so, with a tie ballgame, it was on FR(RS) QB Quinn Willis to lead Wisconsin to victory. And, with help from Kyle Zuleger, he was able to do that. Wisconsin would score 21 unanswered points in the 2nd quarter behind a 57 yard TD run from Zuleger and 2 TD passes from Willis. The Badgers led 24-3 at the half.

Kansas wouldn't go away though and they owned the 3rd quarter. Two long FGs and a TD pass allowed the Jayhawks to make it a 1 score game at 24-16. The Badgers running game came back in the 4th quarter as they would close out the game behind Zuleger and add 2 rushing TDs to make the final score 38-16.

Player of the Game: Kyle Zuleger - He had over 200 total yards and 4 TDs. A great performance from the senior.

Upcoming: Wisconsin hosts #6 Alabama. Alabama had a tough start to the season losing to Oklahoma and Ohio State, but have rebounded with 4 straight wins. It's sure to be a tough game and one that will be a huge factor on the season for both teams.
