Coach Jello had hoped his starting QB, who has missed the last 5 games, would be available this week, but he's still listed as questionable. After going 5-0 with Dennis starting, the Bears are now 3-2 without him. What's worse, Dennis had 14 TDs to 5 INTs while his backups have combined for 17 TDs and 15 INTS!!!!!! After the Arizona game where "starter" Harris threw 4 picks and then Kline came in to throw for 400+ and 4 TDs w/ 0 INTs coach Jello decided to try a 2 QB system this week. However, after 3 1st half INTs thrown by Kline the passing QB, that idea had to be scrapped. It looks like coach Jello will just have to cross all of his fingers that Dennis can finally return to the lineup.
Anywho, the Bears rushed for 350+ and had both Ervin and Muhammad rush for 100+ (the Bears only had 3 other guys rush for 100+ this season and 2 of those times it was injured QB Dennis). WR Chris Harper had his 2nd straight 200+ yard receiving day (267 against Arizona and 236 against USC).
There is nothing scarier for a CB than to see Chris Harper lined up across from him.Game Balls:
