    Florida Atlantic 0
    #10 Miami 45

A real laugher here as Miami hosted Florida Atlantic in what was basically an exhibition for Miami. The Miami defense held FAU to 37 yards through the air while the Miami offense put on a running clinic as they gained 304 yards and 5 TDs. Miami only attempted 5 passes all game and only connected on 2 of those for 28 yards.

    #7 TCU 56
    Auburn 10

TCU hosted the Auburn Tigers a week after beating #1 Florida St. The red hot Horned Frogs continued to stay red hot as they rolled over Auburn. TCU jumped out to a 14-0 lead on two passes to Matt Brown before Auburn could respond with a QB sneak for a touchdown from the goaline. Auburn would never find the endzone after that drive though and TCU would extend the lead before the half. The Horned Frogs scored on back to back drives with a 56 yard run by Boykin then a 17 yard pass to Sophomore Ty Slanina to go up 28-7. BJ Catalon would finally join the scoring drive in the 3rd quarter with a run up the middle to push the lead to 35-7. Auburn would add a field goal but Boykin would take a 5 yard run into the end zone. The starters would come out of the game and on back to back drives, Kylie Hicks would finish off with a 5 yard rush for 6 and Tyler Mathews would find Matt Brown for a passing touchdown on the following drive.

Boykin would throw for 250 yards and 3 touchdowns while rushing for 117 yards and 2 scores

TCU would have several big time prospects visiting so this big win could get them a few commits before next week.

    Clemson Holds Off Baylor
Clemson, SC- Clemson started out slowly, letting the Bears take a 10-0 lead early in the 1st, but rattled off a 31-7 run to end the game and notch a hard fought win.

Chad Kelly had a solid game, he made three poor decisions, but outside of that he was very good. He finished 14/17 for 114 yards 2 TD's and 2 Interceptions, he also coughed it up on a fumble. Zac Brooks was the star of the offense running 15 times for 133 yards and a score. His best carry of the day came on a veer option from the Wildcat, he kept the ball on the read and found a tunnel that led all the way to the endzone for a 70 yard score. Redshirt Freshman Aaron Long scored twice, but both of his TD's came on passes; Long caught 3 balls for 74 yards and 2 TD's. Kyrin Priester also scored, but only caught 1 pass a 6 yard strike from Kelly to start the scoring for Clemson.

The real story of the game was the Clemson defense. They harassed Frerkemp all day, and came away with 4 sacks. They made everything dfficult for the high powered, up-tempo Baylor offense holding them to 204 yards on the day. Frerkemp didn't top the 100 yard mark until the 4th quarter, and the Baylor offense had less than 150 yards total until their final drive.

So far Mario Pender has shown to be a nice hybrid between Freeman and Wilder Jr. He is speedy, yet durable and can lower his shoulder when asked. We lost to Phil week 2 in a close game we probably should of won had it not been for dropped interceptions. My WR corp is young and talented and will only get better. Our QB situation is still touch and go, each of my guys have seen the field and neither have really stepped up and wowed me in any way.

This one had the makings of an upset but a staunch effort by the NCSU front 7 which recorded 7 sacks on the day to bail out a sluggish offense. But the Wolfpack ground game came to play, eventually grinding down Arkansas State. A superb 2nd half performance by the defense gave the Wolfpack a 21-7 advantage after the half.
