    TCU 41
    SMU 27

The Horned Frogs hosted the Mustangs and pulled out a convincing win to the surprise of no one really. Boykin started things off with a run for 49 yard run for a touchdown followed by a BJ Catalon rush for 6. Then the Horned Frogs would add a field goal and quickly go up 17-0. Catalon would score back to back touchdowns on the next possession before Boykin would finally throw for a touchdown. SMU would add two TDs in the 4th but by then, it'd be too late for a comeback. TCU would pick up the home win 41-27.

    Boykin 17/36 276 yards 1 TD 21 rushes 112 yards 1 td

BJ Catalon 32 rushes 168 yards 3 TD

    Clemson Beats Maryland
    Tigers Take Down Terps 45-35
College Park, MD- Maryland has been one of Clemson's toughest opponents the past few seasons and this years game was more of the same. Luckily Germone Hopper was there to make up for it in the return game.

Maryland's offense has been the toughest matchup for Clemson's defense the past 3 seasons, and this year they again racked up yardage, but took home an L anyway. Maryland had 479 yards of offense; 327 passing and another 153 rushing. Clemson racked up 396 yards of their own and Zac Brooks showed the explosion he had last season going for 145 yards on only 9 carries before leaving with a concussion. Aaron Long picked up the slack carrying 13 times for 79 yards and a score. Chad Kelly scored Clemson's other rushing TD but only accounted for 16 yards himself. Mike Williams scored his first TD of the year on a 19 yards score in the second.

The player with the biggest impact on Saturday was Germone Hopper on special teams. Hopper returned 7 kicks for 352 yards and 2 scores. On both returns the Terps let him get outside, and his speed took care of the rest.
