Stingy defense propels Redskins to 34-13 win In a game where RGIII struggled hitting his targets, the Redskins defense continued to do what they do best, force turnovers. With another 3 interceptions, they now have 28 through 8 games and have forced 30 total turnovers. The game started out like your typical Redskins game, two big TD passes first to Nate Washington, the next to Pierre Garcon, and the Redskins were up 14-0 pretty quickly. On the other side, Josh Freeman was struggled out of the gate. He threw an INT on the first Browns drive and the offense wasn't getting much done. Griffin began to unravel toward the end of the first quarter and was uncharacteristically inaccurate. He ended up throwing 3 INT and overthrew several passes. Thankfully he was able to do enough to help put points on the board. Despite the offensive difficulties at times, the Browns were not able to capitalize on their redzone trips and were never really close throughout the game. GG bjbdahitman. Brooks is a stud, very tough to stop. GL the rest of the season.
