Pittsburgh Defeats Oakland in Mid Season Playoff Preview
Oakland came to Pittsburgh riding a 6 game winning streak and sitting atop the AFC. Pittsburgh has exceeded expectations this season and has come out with a 5-1 record so far this season. The Steelers offense performed particularly well in this one, and the Steelers were able to drive down on their first possession and make the score 7-0. Oakland answered back with ten straight points, going into the second quarter up 10-7. Pittsburgh then scored a touchdown with rookie wide receiver Tay Manning breaking away from defenders and finding the end zone. A Terrell Pryor interception would set the Steelers up for a field goal right before halftime making it 17-10 as both teams went into the locker room. Darius Heyward Bay would make an impact on the first play from scrimmage in the second half, taking a screen pass 80 yards to pay dirt. Neither team would get into the endzone after that, but each team would take their turns kicking field goals including a 61 yard field goal attempt missed by Sebastian Janikowski but not for lack of distance. The Steelers would be able to stop the Raiders on two final drives and the Steelers move to 6-1.

    Great game kid crash
