    DEFENSE!
#1 OREGON SHUTS OUT #15 CAL
    31-0

Oregon forces 5 turnovers against Cal and ran the ball for 316 yards and just mauled the bears all game long long. The Ducks could not get close to the Bear QB but made him pay with 3 ints on the day. Duck linebacker, French picked a screen pass off and took it back 85 yards for a TD in the 3Q to make it 24-0.
The lone brigjt spot for the Bears of Cal was their running back Bigelow, he darted in amd out of the Duck defense for 129 yards on 17 carries but cost his team dearly with 2 fumbles that were lost!

The Ducks were lead again by their RB, Robinson who rushed for 125 yards on 18 carries and Bennett who carried the ball 15 times for 97 yards.

Strangely, the Duck Defense did not have 1 tackle for loss or one sack the entire game! A first for the Duck this season!!

Up next for the #1 Ducks (10-0) are the (3-7) Bruins of UCLA

Buffaloes Pull Away After 1st Half Shootout
    [IMG]

Oregon State traveled to Boulder, CO this week in a game that felt very similar to Colorado's week 3 game against Hawaii. Colorado got the ball 1st and was moving it well but QB Stevie Dorman ended up throwing an INT. On the first offensive play for the Beavers, their RB Storm Woods would find a huge hole and run it 76 yards for a TD. Woods would end up with a huge performance in this game. Each team would pretty much alternate scoring possessions for the rest of the half and CU would end up owning the lead at halftime 35-28.

With both offenses being so prolific in the 1st half, that was expected to continue into the 2nd half. For Oregon State though, it didn't. They ended up being shut down in the 2nd half while CU added on another 28 points on route to a 63-28 victory. This win makes Colorado bowl eligible for the first time since 2007.

Player of the Game: Stevie Dorman - 394 Passing Yards and 7 TDs.

Upcoming: CU has their final road game of the season at Washington State. The Cougars are 0-10 on the season so CU should be able to come away with the victory in Spokane.
