WE STRUGGLED STOPPING THE RUN, BUT LIKE I SAID EARLIER, IT CAME DOWN TO THE LAST SNAP. WE ARE FIRED UP AFTER THIS BIG WIN AND WANT COACH Fred Limbo to know that we are coming for them in week 10 in which should be a #1 vs. #2. AND WE KNOW WHO IS NUMBER #1!!!!!!!!!!! GO LSU!!!!

LSU beats Florida, 23-20 in a classic

Wow, first off, before I dive into the game, EXCELLENT game Stiffysix!

The number 5 Florida Gators, and now once beaten Florida Gators were set to host the number 1 LSU Tigers and Coach StiffySix Saturday night in the Swamp. The game was built up to be one for the ages, and the game did not disappoint, at all. LSU received the opening kickoff and drove down field pretty quickly to take a 7-0 lead. Florida then went 3 and out, and LSU added a field goal to make it 10-0. The Florida offense then got a bit of life, scoring on a 70 yard Jason Johnson touchdown run, followed up by a pass from Jeff Driskel to Hunter Joyer to make it 14-10 Gators. LSU put together a drive to get into field goal range right before the half ended, and the LSU kicker put one through the uprights to make it 14-13 at the break. Florida would receive the 2nd half kickoff, but could only get a field goal out of it from kicker Kyle Christy, 17-13 Florida leads. No more points would be scored in the 3rd quarter, but LSU would strike early in the 4th on a 2 yard rushing TD by fullback Jarrett Hawthorne to make it 20-17 LSU. Florida would then go on a LONG drive, but have to settle for a game tying field goal from Christy with 2:16 left on the clock. That would be too much time for the LSU offense, as they put together a great drive on some great playcalling to get down to the 1 yard line with 1 second left on the clock. The snap was good, the hold was good, and the kick was good, and LSU's dream season continues, while Florida stumbles for the first time on the year. "It was a great college football game, fun to be a part of, we just came up short, and that happens in football, in all sports. I am proud of our guys, we fought the whol 60 minutes, and so did the LSU team, hats off to them. Now we have to get back to work, and keep winning, so we can hopefully get another shot tat those guys in Atlanta in December," said Coach Hickerson.

Oregon takes down pesky Penn State 19-0

The Duck defense played their best football of the year as they held the Nittany Lions to a total of 27 yards for the game. The Lions were held to -11 yards rushing on 18 attempts and only managed 34 yards through the air on 5-14 passing. Both defenses played extremely well!

Oregon struggled against the Nittany Lions defense. Oregon was only able to muster 132 yards on the ground and it took 41 carries to do that. The Ducks threw the ball 5 times completing 3, with one, a 42 yard completion setting Oregons 1st TD. Robinson, the nations 8th leading rusher, was held to 101 yards on 21 carries. Defensively the Ducks were lead by Vincent, who had 6 tackles, 3 for loss, and 3.5 sacks!

The Duck defense tallied 10 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, and 1 forced fumble.

Next week the Ducks will host Coach Tug and his Washington Huskies

Colorado Matches 2013 Win Total With 49-21 Win Over UCLA
    [IMG]

Colorado controlled this game throughout. The Buffs got the ball to start the game and immediately drove down the field a TD. CU's defense was also ready to play at the start of the game as they were shutting down the Bruins offense. This allowed the Buffs to bolt out to a 21-0 lead in the 2nd quarter. UCLA tried to make a comeback though as they were able to get 2 TDs in the 2nd quarter to make it 28-14 at the half. UCLA got the ball to start the 3rd quarter and they struck quickly. In less than a minute, they managed to make it a 7 point game at 28-21. CU would answer the pressure and take back control of this game by adding 2 quick TDs of their own. Then with the addition of a 4th quarter TD, the Buffs would close it out at 49-21.

Player of the Game: Stevie Dorman - He had a great day passing for 335 yards and 4 TDs.

Upcoming: The Buffs hit the road to go face the Arizona Wildcats. This is a big Pac 12 South game as the winner will be 2nd in the South Division and hold a 2 game lead over 3rd place. Also, since neither has played USC, the winner will still control their own destiny.
