Hard KnocksWeek 17 The Tennessee Titans are the team to beat in Hard Knocks. A 4 game win streak including victories over 2 of the top 5 teams in HK puts them at #1. The defense is insane led by rookie Antoine Buice and we all know about the offense with Chris Johnson on the attack. How about them Cowboys? 10 game winning streak with a victory over the #3 St. Louis Rams has them ranked #2. I believe they're ranked behind the Titans because of the defense giving up so many points. One thing is for sure, they've found their QB. Ryan Mallett is tearing up HK and has the Cowboys ranked 1st in passing. The best show on turf returns in 2014 as the St. Louis Rams feature the best offense in HK. The Rams seem to be unstoppable with the most points scored, yardage and rushing yards. However, a 45-38 loss to the Cowboys drops them down to #3. The Browns have cleaned things up a bit after the beat down they took at the hands of the Titans in Week 13, 37-7. They've bounced back with 3 straight wins including a 26-20 victory over the dangerous Cincinnati Bengals. Watch out for the Browns though as they unlike the top 3 teams are not one dimensional. They mix things up very well with the 8th best rushing attack and 12th best passing offense in HK. The Jets round out the top 5 with the 2nd best defense in HK. They dropped one to the Titans but bounced back with a solid win over the New England Patriots. A pretty good offense to compliment the gritty defense. They like to spread the ball around. They have 2 headed monster attacks in rushing receiving. The Giants haven't played well their past two games. It seems to be the reason they've fell out of the top 5. A loss to the Minnesota Vikings who are #14 on the power rankings and barely beating the #29 Washington Redskins. They have a good offense but their pass defense seems to be holding them back. After getting beat by the New York Jets in Week 11, 38-27, the Saints have rebounded with 5 straight wins. Are they for real though? They've only won 1 game against a top 10 opponent in those 5 straight wins. Doesn't matter now, they're in place to win the South for the 1st time since BK has took over. The Chicago Bears find themselves at #8 in the HK Power Rankings. Their high powered offense led by Tom Brady overshadows the defense that has obvious problems including injuries. They've had a bit of roller coaster ride in the past 4 with 2 straight losses and then 2 bounce back wins including a victory over the #9 Atlanta Falcons. Have the Falcons had their wings clipped? Not too long ago, they were on a 4 game spree that saw them knock off the #3 St. Louis Rams. Not only did they beat the high powered Rams, they did it in amazing fashion by holding the HK leading rusher to 18 yards. Things have changed though as they've dropped 2 straight to 2 top 10 teams. What is happening in Cincinnati? Where is the roar that once silenced the users in Hard Knocks? We all know how good Frisk is but he has been in a bit of a slump. 4 straight losses has put him in the #10 spot after starting off 8-3.
