    S4 Week 3

Idaho takes down SJSU 38-26. All American DE Henry poole finally got off and racked up 3 sacks. SJSU had a nice pass rush themselves and kept the game more competitive than expected. Vandal Jr WR Patrick Mealey continued to impress hauling in two long TD receptions. HB Corey White amassed over 100 yds rushing and overall... the game was a success for Idaho. No injuries and a W. QB Justin Terry threw 4 TDs and had zero INTS. Nice win for Idaho.

Ingram Leads Stanford to a Win Over Arizona

Ingram powers into the end zone for the winning touchdown with :08 left

Braylon Ingram earns Player of the Game honors for the 2nd week in a row. The reigning Pac-10 Player of the Week once again showed why he is on the Heisman Watchlist. Ingram carried the ball 27 times for 110 yards and scored 3 of Stanford's 4 touchdowns. Stanford's defense played well overall, with the exception of a 1:18 span of the 2nd quarter when Arizona took a 14-7 lead after two long touchdown passes by quarterback R Morrison; the first one to tight end B Carter, the second one to wideout D Macklin. Andrew Luck, who threw for 241 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, hit JR Patterson with :20 to play in the half to tie the game up at halftime. The 3rd quarter was scoreless and the Cardinal took the lead in the 4th quarter when Ingram scored his second of three touchdowns on a 13-yard run out of the "Wild Tree" formation. "Cardinal Killer" from a year ago, Greg Nwoko, scored 1:46 later on a 2-yard run to tie the game up once again at 21-21 with 2:40 to play. Stanford then drove down the field and faced a 3 & 8 on the Wildcats 18 yard line with under :30 to play. Luck found sophomore tight end and leading receiver for the game Ben Hill for a 16-yard gain and with :08 left, Ingram punched it in on a run up the middle for the win.
Stanford improves to 2-0 and will host #12 Texas A&M in their home opener next week.

It was really confusing when I (Hawaii) jumped to a 21-0 lead early. I found myself cheering when the Lions scored and a piece of my heart broke when the final whistle blew...
