    ASU 23
    Utah 14

Az State controlled the majority of this game, but their red zone woes kept things interesting until the end. 3 FGs for the Sun Devils, all of which were under 30 yards as the offense was only able to find the end zone twice in 5 trips. It was the rushing game that helped control the clock and the game, as ASU doubled up Utah in time of possession. Senior Marcus Washington rushed 20 times for 122 yards. Sophomore backup Jake Parham ran another 17 times for 67 yards. The Arizona State defense held up their end of the bargain, limiting the Utes to under 200 yards of total offense.
