    Michigan stomps the Hoosiers
Michigan had a good warm-up game to their rival Alabama by winning 57-0. Nick Bradford ended his game at the end of the 3rd quarter after the blowout with 401 yards and 4 touchdowns. At times Bradford was way off on passes by leading his guys bad, but for the most part he was on the money. The Wolverines amassed over 700 total yards and held the Hoosiers to under 200 yards. Next up the Wolverines will battle against the Tide. Michigan has lost 2 to Alabama now and look to change that when they come to visit in Ann Arbor.

    Wisconsin's run game stays hot:
Wisconsin wins in a wet, rainy and very windy game, 34-13, against the Red Raiders of Texas Tech. Again the Badger's offensive line won the battle in the trenches providing SR RB Jeff Lewis a 327 yard game with 4 TDS. Lewis was averaging 8.1 yards a pop but that was inflated due to two long runs, the first 83 yards and then second being 84. The offensive line did a great job blocking for Lewis but when in pass situations they fell apart allowing a few sacks and giving QB Joe Brennan anytime to throw. The offense looks to stay hot and to work on pass protection for next weeks game.

The defense played well yet again causing three turnovers, all interceptions. One interception was very timely. Tech was driving and it looked like they were going to get their second TD of the day but CB Julius Schimdt picked off the ball on their own 2 yard line. This interception eventually setup the 84 yard TD run by Lewis. The Dline stomped Tech's RB allowing 12 yards rushing but overall The Raiders could only produce -22 rushing yards. This was caused by 5 sacks from the Dline.

Join the Badgers as they open up B1G play versus Minnesota.

With only one offensive touchdown and field goal, Alabama's special teams and defense picked up the slack for the win. Alabama had 4 kick/punt returns for TD's (one was called back) and two Int-Td's. You'd think they would stop kicking to Sylve and Hart. The offense really played poorly, and the only good things the defense did were the two pick sixes.

Next week the Tide faces off against #1 Michigan. We are really going to have to pick it up on offense and defense if we want to have any chance at a victory.

It took awhile for the Sun Devils to show up for this one, as the home Trojans raced out to a 17-0 lead early in the 2nd quarter. But then junior quarterback Michael Eubanks came alive. While the defense continued to struggle, ASU was able to cut the lead to a manageable 13 at 27-14 with back to back TD drives just before halftime, and would have first possession to start the 2nd half. The Devils took advantage with another TD, and it was game on at 27-21. While USC was able to pass the ball at will in the first half, their inability and\or unwillingness to run would give advanteg to the Devils defense in the 2nd half, allowing just 3 points in the final 2 quarters. An early TD in the 4th gave ASU the lead 31-30, and a late FG would force USC to find the end zone to win. A last second hail mary would go unanswered, and ASU comes away with a remarkable come from behind upset win in the Coliseum.

    ASU
    Michael Eubanks; 21 for 35, 427 yards, 4 TDs, 2 INTs
Marcus Washington; 19 carries, 79 yards
Stephen Ball; 8 catches, 215 yards
Donovan Parker; 4 catches 112 yards, 2 TDs

    USC
    Matt Powell; 24 for 48, 455 yards, 2 TDs. 12 carries, 21 yards
DJ Morgan; 5 carries, 49 yards, 1 TD
George Farmer; 8 catches, 146 yards, 1 TD
Markeith Ambles; 6 catches, 127 yards
Marquise Lee; 5 catches, 104 yards, 1 TD

Arizona State looks to stay perfect in conference next week, as they travel to Boulder to take on Colorado.
