we straight dominated ole miss! offense is a force. our defense kept giving us a short field by making turnovers. 2nd string got alot of action coming in during the second quarter. looking forward to our next game. GO LSU!!!!!!

    #2 Oregon Destroys UCLA
    59-10

The Ducks ran for 201 yards and 3 scores while also throwing for 257 yards and 3 scores. Bennett completed only 6 of 9 passes but all 6 passes were for huge gains as the secondary of UCLA seemed content with trying to stop the Duck rushing attack. Blackmon of Oregon caught 3 balls for a whopping 183 yards and 1 TD. Robinson had the usual rishing day as he went ran for 109 yards on 20 carries.

The Duck Defense seemed as if they were in on the offensive play calling! They had 15 tackles for loss, 6 sacks, 2 ints, 3 forced fumbles and recovered 2 of those! French scooped one of the fumbles up and scored!

The only issue Coach Hokie said his team needs workon was pitch relationship and timing. Saying Bennett can not keep having poor pitches and turning the ball over.

Next up for the Ducks (11-0) is CIVIL WAR with Oregon State (3-7)

    South Carolina 9
    Alabama 10

In coach Busteds first game at South Carolina, the gamecocks couldnt muster much offense. The gamecocks only accumulated 263 yards of total offense and turned the ball over 3 times.

Bama got on the board first with a field goal in the first. Then South Carolina's defense came up big, sacking Bama QB Philip Sims in the endzone for 2.

In the second, the SC offense showed a bright spot by taking the ball on the long drive and punching it in the endzone with the FB Rob Holloway. 9-3 Gamecocks.

The defenses dominated until the 1 minute left in the fourth when Sims found TE Daniel Gonzalez in the endzone to go up 1. South Carolina QB Martay Mattox threw his 3rd interception of the game on the final drive.

It looks as if the Gamecocks are out of the SEC West race now with Georgia up a game. Coach Busted hinted that some younger guys would receive more playing time to get ready for next year.

Auburn POUNDS Kentucky 65-0 to keep on rolling towards a shot at there 3rd Natty. USC vs Oregon going to be a huge game. In the Game we had 2 backs over 100 and played stellar D with a pick 6 and a fumble returned for a TD. Looks like UGA gets a rematch in the SEC Champ game!! I know he is looking for revenge and out for blood.

Stanford Wins the Big Game against Cal 49 to 30.

Cal would score off a 59 yard rush on their opening drive but that would be the only time they would hold the lead. Stanford scored a quick TD off a 82 yrd pass to Kelsey Young and then later Nottingham hit Douglas Avery for a 27 yard td pass. However, Nottingham left the game early with a strained back finishing 3-7 for 126 yards and 2 TD's. Ben Wilson took over the QB position and definitely raised some eyebrows as he made his case to be the starter next year. Wilson connected on to TD's as well and threw 169 yards with 11 completions on 17 attempts. The defense played very well collecting 7 sacks and 3 interceptions, including one pick 6 late in the 4th. Stanford added a little insult to injury when just running the clock out on their own 3 yard line turned into a 97 yard TD from Remound Wright.

Colorado Blows Out Washington State On The Road
    [IMG]

This game ended up being a total mismatch. Colorado hasn't had many impressive defensive performances this year but this was definitely one of them. The Cougars managed only about 150 yards in this game and just couldn't anything going. For CU, their running game was surprisingly ineffective in this game. RB Malcolm Creer could only get 14 yards on 10 carries which is well below his season average. Fortunately for the Buffs though, the passing game was golden against WSU's poor defense. The Cougars had no answer for Stevie Dorman and his arm as CU went on to win 45-14.

Player of the Game: DE Kyle Wilson - Wilson recorded an NCAA record 8 sacks in this game.
