    Oregon outlast Colorado
    27-3
The 1st half saw the Buffalos dominate the clock with ball control and great play calling while the Ducks stumbled all over themselves with turnovers and poor play offensively. The 1st Quarter was scoreless but with 4:48 to play before halftime Colorado got on the board with an 18 yard FG. The Buffs just missed a TD as a WR was tackled at the 1 yardline by 2 Duck defenders to force the 4th down FG.
Down 3-0 Oregon still struggled to get anything going and gave the ball back to Colorado. That's when the defense stepped up again...John Moore (FS) stepped in front of a pass and took it back 54 yards with 1:29 to play before halftime to give Oregon the 7-3 lead. At halftime, the Ducks had 1, 1st down and little to no offense, if it weren't for the defense it could have been ugly!
To start the 2nd half, the Duck got the ball and finally had some success. At the 5:28 mark of the 3rd Quarter, Kenard Ryan took a 3rd and 2 handoff around right end, broke a tackle and picked up some downfield blocking and raced 61 yards to give the Ducks the 14-3 lead.
Oregon's 2nd half adjustment to Colorado's 4 & 5 wide attack was to leave their 3-3-5 Stack Defense...and IT WORKED! The Ducks sacked Monty Allen 7 times on the day! Defensive End, Sam Kemp of Oregon had 4 of those sacks, while the defense picked Allen off 3 times on the day.
Oregon would get 2 FGs from Bryan Garcia who had a big day with 2 FG's, one of which was from 54 yards out both gave the Ducks a 20-3 lead. Oregona tacked on another TD on a short pass to Ryans to give the Ducks the 27-3 lead. On the play it looked as if Oregon QB Marcus Mariota, saw something at the line and audibled. On the snap Colorado had what looked to be an all out blitz called and all Ryans had to do was catch the ball and walk in from 30 yards out.
#8 Oregon moves to 7-1 overall, and with Stanford losing a close game to USC 28-26, it looks as if the Ducks control their own destiny! If the Ducks can win out they will play #2 USC again for the PAC12 Championship.

    Auburn wins over LSU 31-24
Our game froze on us the score was 31-24 with 1:34 left my ball on the 29 it was 2&9 he had 1 TO left
So we got the score back to the same spot and time and started from there. So the stats you see and score is not what happened in the real game.
I jumped out to a 24-0 lead and he managed to score 14 right before half because I was being stupid and he was determined not to lose so bad. He played very good D in the 2nd half a I only got 7 points and he got 10. When the game resumed i ran a play and he called his last TO. I then hit my TE on a nice pass "He was wide open" for the 1st down and game sealer.
Good Game Stiffysix you need to get a little better before you start flapping them gums.
I Just kicked that butt in your own house!
LOL you know I love ya thats why I spank that butt!!

Derrick Howard out for season, Utes win against Arizona State 36-15

Derrick Howard went out in the second quarter with a broken elbow, but that didn't stop the Utes from scoring points. Utah sophomore receiver Ricky Watkins had a career day with 5 receptions for 191 yards and 3 touchdowns. "I was just able to make a couple of moves and beat the coverage" Watkins said. Travis Jackson played solid for Utah throwing for a touchdown. "We needed this game after our letdown in Oregon", Coach Wayers said. Defensively Utah was able to force 3 turnovers. Up next for the Utes they travel to Cal.

pretty much what fred said. we came out and made mistakes early and got in a big hole. we came back and on the last play the tight end was wide open and there was no way to stop the clock. we dont control our own destiny but we are still not out of it. need a couple of teams to lose. "@big tubb". lol.
got big alabama this week. dont know what his game is about so should be a fun match-up.

Oregon pulled away in the end but Coach HAL was very happy with how his defense performed. They played above their ratings and really shut down the Ducks apart from some big plays. The offense struggled again against a good defense though. They were able to move the ball some early and took a 3-0 lead but there just wasn't enough consistency there to make it a game.

Tide Keeps Win Streak Alive Against Indiana
    [IMG]

Despite an early game hiccup with an opening drive fumble that was recovered for a TD for Indiana and then a stall on their next drive that led to a FG, Bama would recover on the back of their defense. The Tide defense forced six turnovers in the game which led to great field position all day for the offense. Ben Hunter (18 car, 206 yards, 1 rec, 29 yards, 5 TDs) was again fantastic. Bradley Sylve also had a sensational 103 yard kick off return for a touchdown right before half time. In the second half, the Tide went after the clock with their 2nd string players.

This game was a nice primer for the Tide as they have LSU coming to town next week for a big matchup.

Stanford Comes up Short against Trojans
It was a tough outing for the Cardinal as they fell just short of a game full of mistakes. The game started defensive but USC was able to make some big plays and get TD's while Stanford had to settle for fieldgoals until late in the game. The Video shows it all. A mix of USC having a well coached and athletic defense along with some sloppy QB play by Stanford led to 3 INT's. The Cardinal offense was never fully able to get rolling, having to rely on a quick no-huddle offense to take USC off guard and get some late points. The game was set somewhat close after a Pick 6 but we could just not get the onside kick. "We just fell to them early and had to get out of our comfort zone. Twice this season a team has jumped on us and we just made some mistakes in the throwing game, just shooting ourselves in the foot. We get in a position where the opponent can just run all over us and waste the clock, an we aren't the quickest scoring team out there. We have a lot to work on and get back on our feet. I am proud of our guys not giving up and making the game a bit close at the end, but next year we just need to start capitalizing early and take control."
