#7 Oregon takes care of the Sun Devils
The 1st half saw both teams go at each other with Oregon taking the 7-0 lead and the Duck Defense holding the Sun Devils to 88 total yards. The 2nd half saw both teams explode offensively!
Arizona State exploded for 281 yards in the 2nd half using the Big Play & Deep Ball.
Oregon took the 14-0 lead on a 59 yard run by Ben Robinson, who rushed for 211 yards on 22 carries and 2 scores with 4:04 to play in the 3rd Quarter but on 3rd and short the Sun Devils answered with their 1st score on the day when Robert McDaniel found a seam in the defense and raced 45 yards to put ASU on the board and make it 14-7 Oregon with 3:42 to play in the #rd Quarter.
Oregon answered back when Kenard Ryan took a handoff and outlegged everyone to the cone from 52 yards out to push the lead back to 14 points, with 1:28 to play at 21-7. On ASU next possesion, Michael Eubank found a slanting Ezekiel Bishop through traffic and Bishop raced down the field untouched for the score to make the score 21-14 with 44 seconds left in the 3rd Quarter.
Oregon tacked on a FG from 55 yards out to push the lead to 10 points. The field hit the cross bar and literally rolled over the bar to count! Arizona State put a nice drive together but after 2 sacks inside the Oregon 20 yardline, the Sun Devils settled for the FG to make it 24-17 with 2:57 to play. The Duck Offense went to work getting 1st down after 1st down and with 53 seconds, QB Marcus Mariota kept the ball on an option and walked in for the score and to seal the 7th win of the season for the Ducks.
Up next for the Ducks are the Cougars of Washington State. The Cougars have not won a game this year and sit at the bottom of the Pac12.
With #5 Bama losing to #6 LSU, the Ducks are creeping back into the picture! If they can win out the possiblities are great.
said Coach Hokie after the game,
    "1 GAME AT A TIME!"

our defense showed up in t-town this week. they couldn't have played any better. we stopped the run of bama and tried to make the bama offense throw the ball. hilliard played grown man football as well, running wild on a alabama defense and alot of his yards were after contact. we were able to catch the bama defense napping on a long pass play to the speedy townsend for a big TD that was probably the mental dagger for the bama sideline. good game bama.
    GO LSU!!!!

Utah wins wild one against CAL 28-24

The Utes went scoreless the first 3 quarters but managed 28 points in the 4th quarter to beat the Golden Bears. "Wow, I'm speechless", Coach Wayers said, "The way this one ended, the way we played the first 3 quarters of the game, I don't know what to say". Well he can say this, the Utes are bowl eligible after their sixth win of the year. Quarterback Travis Jackson threw for 3 TD's with 1 interception. "This game was unbelievable, we just kept fighting and we knew something good would happen", Jackson said. But I bet he didn't expected CAL runningback to have the game won, but fumble it then returned for a touchdown. "I saw the ball laying on the ground and instantly I was like I need to get that football" said OLB Joseph Brooks.

That was a tough one to swallow. When your defense gets completely demolished and your offense is inept as we were against LSU its hard to find singular things to point out. Obviously turnovers killed us and our complete inability to tackle and defend the outside running game greatly contributed to our downfall. All I can hope for is a rebound against Mississippi State to start off this brutal road trip to finish the season.

    Ole Miss Runs to Victory
It was a tough loss for Tennessee. They were down from the start of the game. The game started off terribly with Daniel Lawson recovering a fumble and taking it to the end zone to put Ole Miss up 7-0. That was just the beginning of the bad breaks for Tennessee. As running back Brandon Smith would run for three consecutive touchdowns they went for 55 yards, 68 yards and 74 yards. These scores would basically put the Volunteers out of the game from the start but they would try to mount a comeback. Tennessee would finally find the scoreboard in the second quarter with Ryan Tucker throwing to Justin Randall for a 24 yard touchdown. Tennessee will get a field goal to make this score 28-10 the Rebels leading at halftime. The only score of the third quarter would be on another Rudy Coleman field-goal this one from 25 yards out. In the fourth quarter Ryan Tucker would find his other tight end Adrian Wilson for a 6 yard touchdown pass to make this score 28-20 Ole Miss still in the lead. On the kick off Adrian Potter would cause a fumble and returned it for a touchdown. Tennessee would attempt the two-point conversion to tie the game but they failed. The rebels would drive down the field one more time and put the game out of reach with a touchdown.
    Final score:

    Ole Miss Rebels 35

    Tennessee Volunteers 26

The Buffs got behind early and could never recover. Credit to that goes to Coach LH and a dominant running game. If you can't stop the run, then you will never win in football and Bishop Sankey was able to run all over Colorado. Combine that with CU's inability and unwillingness to run the ball and the Buffs should've never even had a shot. CU falls to 4-5 after this game and will need to improve if they want to make a bowl game.
