WELL THIS WAS A FUN GAME TO PLAY ALTHOUGH THIS IS NOT THE STYLE OF PLAY WE LIKE. IT WAS A CLASSIC SHOOTOUT. WE COULDNT STOP THAT TEXAS OFFENSE FOR NOTHING. BUT THEY COULDNT STOP THE LSU OFFENSE AS WELL. WE WERE FORTUNATE TO JUMP OUT TO A BIG LEAD AND JUST KEPT SCORING AS DID THEY. IT WAS EXCITING BUT WE HOPE THAT THIS IS THE LAST GAME LIKE THAT ONE! I THINK WE HAVE A STAR IN THE MAKING AT WR IN TOWNSEND. HE JUST TOOK OVER THE GAME WITH 200 YARDS RECIEVEING AND A KICK RETURN FOR A TD. JUST MIGHT GIVE COATES OF AUBURN A RUN FOR RETURN MAN OF THE YEAR, WE WILL SEE!!!
GO LSU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LSU 48 TEXAS 38

Stanford Pulls ahead In Top 10 ShowDown
QB Ben Wilson had another impressive outing throwing for 12 out of 16, 227 yards, with a QB rating of 214.8 and a TD. Wright had a 4.8 average on 31 carries for 149 yards and 2 TD's. The O-Line needed some improvement as they allowed for Wilson to get sacked 4 times. Sutton played aggressive as he had 6 tackles, 4 for a loss and a sack. Mosley had this to say afterwards "Well we played well in a top ranked team, but we started off much stronger than we played a majority of the game. I think after we got a quick start we kind of just relaxed and we need to work to keep our hard nosed mindset."

We Got everyone involved again we threw the ball well and ran it well, our Defense played lights out and we bullied the bulldogs. We have a very solid team this year with the ability to put up points through the air as well as pound it on the ground. We could have score over a 100 and we had the 2nd string in before the half.

#4 Oregon wins over #11 Oklahoma on a last second FG
    23-21
After falling down 14-7 and losing their Starting QB for the game with a concussion, Oregon roared back with backup QB Patick Carlson. Carlson was 4-4 passing for 102 yards and 1 TD, while leading a gimpy but steady running game behind All American Ben Robinson, who carried the ball 23 times for 123 yards.
Oklahoma ran the hurry up offense the entire game and Oregon struggled trying to stop the air attack and the Mobile QB, Travis Inman. Inman ran the ball almost everytime he couldn't find a WR open and it caused the Duck Defense fits! The Sooners were lead in rushing by Inman who carried the ball 11 times for 67 yards and it weren't for him being sacked on 4 occassions he may have been close to 100 yards on the day. Inman did cost his teams points late in the 4th Quarter, when he scrambled to his right and OLB Rodney Hardrick of Oregon put his helmet on the ball and cuased a fumble. MLB Josh Morgan pounced on the ball to give.
Oregon was only able to get a FG from their defesive effort but had the lead 20-14 with 3:56 to play!
Oklahoma needed a score and Inman was determined to make up for his mistake! Deep in their owen territory and on 3rd and long Inman scrambled around and hit running back Danzel Williams out of the backfield for a 90 yard catch and run to give Oklahoma the lead, 21-20 with 3:09 to play. Williams ran right between 2 Duck defenders and they seem to even notice that he had the ball once that happend it was over as Williams took it to the house!
Oregon didnt want to give Oklahoma the ball back and it was obvious as they drained the clock and went on a long drive in hopes of going 2-0 and taking down the pesky #11 Sooners of OU (0-2).
Oregon drove the ball to the 29 yard line of OU and on 3rd down tried to get a 1st down but were stuffed with close to 30 seconds left in the game. Rather than call a timeout, Coach Hokie choose to let the clock run and allow his Kicker to win the game. With 5 seconds left on the clock Oregon snapped the ball, their was a 12 mph wind at his back but blowing right to left slighty...Cunningham lined it up just inside the right up-right and booted it through from 46 yards to give #4 Oregon their second win over a highly ranked team early in the season.

Up next for the Duck are the Ramblin Wreck of Georgia Tech (0-2) and the Paul Johnson FleXbox One Attack! The Yellow Jackets defeated Syracuse 35-3 in week 1 but lost #3 Stanford 26-24 this week

Coach Busted was proud of the effort his team played with but disapointed with a couple of mistakes that cost the Gamecocks a win, "Every game in this conference is tough and we hung in there, but we have got to get better in crunch time if we want to compete in the SEC."

With South Carolina up 4 and just under 2 minutes left in the game, the Gamecock offense could not convert on a 3rd and short. Then when Georgia got the ball back, a blown coverage led to 58 yard TD pass.

"We were worried about big number 89 over the middle," Coach Busted said of the play. "He was killing us all game so we had concentrated our coverage toward the middle of the field and we got beat on the outside."

'Big number 89' refers to Georgia Tight End Aaron Johnson who caught 6 balls for 107 yards.

South Carolina still had a chance down 3 with 1:30 to play. But the Georgia defense forced the first turnover of the game when they intercepted SC QB Martay Mattox to ice the game.

"He's got to start improving," Coach Busted said of his Senior QB who went 10 for 21 for only 92 yards. "We need him to make better decisions."

One bright spot for the team was backup RB Brandon Wilds who came in when the started RB got hurt. Wilds rushed for 145 yards on 13 carries and scored 1 TD.

The Gamecocks will look for their first win next week against Michigan

Another home win for the Gators brings them to 2-0 heading into this weeks conference opener against Tennessee. Coach JhuJay had a much more balanced offense in this game as the Gators had 230 yds passing and 175 yds rushing. QB Thomas Miranda had a great day going 14/19 for 230 yds and 1 TD. HB Jason Johnson was knocked out of the game in the 2nd QTR but backup Spencer Reed and no problem filling in. Reed racked up 127 yds and 2 TDs on 19 carries.

Nebraska had trouble moving the ball against the Florida defense. The stat sheet shows that they compiled a good deal of yard on both the ground and in the air, but alot of those yards were gained in the 4th QTR when the game was already out of reach.
