    #11 Florida 34, Kentucky 7

Florida rolled the Cats in Lexington as they had 251 yards on the ground. This game was never close. On the opening drive of the game Spencer Reed went 49 yards to score a TD. Then on UK first possession an option toss gone wrong led to a 17 yard defense TD. The Gators never really looked back from there.

Gator QB Thomas Miranda went 3/4 with 1 INT. A very efficient game.

Florida held Kentucky to 2 yards rushing on 23 carries, which is impressive.

Next up the Gators travel to Tuscaloosa for Coach JhuJay first user game of the year.

    #4 Oregon Improves to 4-0
    win over #5 Stanford
    22-10
Oregon took the opening kick-off and drove down the field and took almost 6 minutes off the clock to score. But it didnt come easy! It took a 4th and 1 from the Stanford 1 yard before Oregon got on the board when Kenard Ryan took it ion from 1 yard out with 1:14 to play in the 1st Quarter.
Stanford answered quickly! Stanford Stud RB, Remound Wright took the handoff over his left Tackle and the FS of Oregon over-ran the play and it was over! 84 yards later it was tied up at 7 all.
Stanford's defense stiffened on Oregons next series and forced the Ducks to punt on their next series. Oregon's Punter Cunningham punted the ball and it sailed out of bounds at the Oregon 4 yardline! Stanford got 2 yards on their 1st play but on 2nd down, Stanford dropped back to pass and was Sacked for a safety to give Oregon the 9-7 lead with 3:24 to play in the 1st half.
Oregon took the free kick and drove down the field and got inside the Stanford 5 yard line and tried 3 times to punch it in but Stanford would not allow it! Stanford also called 2 timeouts to try and save time. Oregon's Coach Hokie decided to take the 3 points and the 12-7 lead when Garcia booted the 19 yard FG with 49 seconds left in the 1st half.
Stanford went 5 wide after the kick and had success on their 1st, 2 plays! Before Wilson of Stanford was picked off by Oregon Wilkerson to end the half.
Stanford started the 2nd half with the ball and was finally able to put a drive together but like Stanford's "D"...Oregon's "D" stiffened and forced a 31 yard FG by Oliver Johnson to make it 12-10 with 2:56 to play in the 3rd Quarter. Oregon's offense had poked and proded Stanford all game long, basically taking what the defense gave before Ben Robinson busted a play and the game WIDE OPEN! Robinson took a handoff off the right side and went straight through the Cardinals for 73 yards with 2:12 to play in the 3rd Quarter and give the Ducks the 19-10 lead!
Stanford came again in 5 wide trying to get a big play but Wilson again was picked off by Johnson to give Pregon back the ball. Oregon knowing that they couldnt afford to make a mistake ran the ball right at the Cardinal and tried to obtain 1st downs. After a couple of 1st down they punted the ball back to Stanford. Stanford was driving but found themselves with a 4th and mid yardage and decided to go for it. Coming out in 5 wide Stanford came up 1 yard short giving the ball back to Oregon!
Oregon drove the ball down the field and stalled out at the Stanford 29 yardline but on came Cunningham who booted a 46 yard FG to seal the Victory with 1:15 to play.
The Ducks will have the week off before Hosting #10 California Bears.

    Tide Roll Hogs

"We got back to playing Alabama football." That seemed to be the consensus coming from not only Coach Fransisco, but the whole Alabama locker room after their victory over Arkansas. The Tide scored early and often and the defense never let up as they knocked off Arkansas 44-16 in Tuscaloosa. The Tide are now 2-1 in the start of this young season and 1-0 in SEC play.

It didnt take long for the Tide to get on the board after an excellent kick return by Bradley Sylvey, setting up Alabama with great field position at the Arkansas 49. Two plays later Ben Hunter (15 Car, 242 Yds, 3 Rec, 19 Yds, 4 TDs), who started despite a sore ankle, was in the endzone after a shifty 35 yard scamper. Hunter would later add to his monster day with scores of 35, 78, and 52. Isaiah Ellison (8 of 14, 158 Yards, 1 TD) continued his solid play and connected late in the 2nd quarter with wide receiver Adam Kennedy (1 Rec, 80 Yards, 1 TD) to put the Tide up 24-3. The Tide would add a field goal as time expired in the half and would go up 27-3.

After two quick scores to start the second half, Coach Fransisco let up off the pedal and brought in some younger players to get some experience. Carl Cuter (13 Car, 89 Yards) had another solid day in relief of Hunter as he carried most of the work load in the 2nd half. The Tide offense finished the day with 641 yards of total offense as Coach Fransisco seems to finally found a nice balance with this offense.

Up next is a very tough test for Alabama against Florida. "This game is where we'll find out whether we're a pretender or contender for the SEC Championship this season" stated Coach Fransisco. Either way, its promising to be a great matchup.

Auburn wins a shootout over #10 Cal, I came into the game committed to getting better running the zone D and failed miserably but I did stick with it. Punt returns, Long Pass, and Big runs were the name of this game, neither D was able to stop the others Offense in a game of who scored last. We had a a lot of big time recruits visiting and hope to have a big weekend on the recruiting trail. Highlights froze on upload so I dont have any stats to show but it was a wild game

Coach's comments following 35-0 loss at home to USC

-Well, I'll start off by saying do not blame that game on the defense. I don't care who you play whether it's a JV team, a high school team, a junior college team, much less a college team like USC. If you can only get 5 yards offense, get sacked 10 times, and have -41 rushing yards, you ain't gonna beat anybody I just talked about. Anybody. Alright? And that was a disgraceful performance in my opinion. We gave 'em the freaking game by not even showing up. In my opinion, that sucked. Holy crap. I don't know who the hell we think we are when we do something like that. Unbelievable. 5 yards. That's pitiful to perform like that. Absolutely pitiful.

    -What's that?

-Pac 12 Championship? Don't talk about...Pac 12 Championship. You kidding me? The Championship? I just hope we can win a game. Another game.

Oregon played some great football and really deserved the win. The defense was tough and the Offense was as close to unstoppable as any. We knew coming into the game that Oregon can run the ball well and chew the clock, so our plan was to try and get an early lead to force Oregon to try and catch up. In the second quarter, after stopping their second drive we got our chance, but it was on our own 4 yard line. We tried to get a bit of breathing room but I just forced everything trying to get a big play too early. That close to our goal line we should have continued running rather then trying to pass. Oregon broke through on that play seemingly untouched and after the Safety it felt like it was just over. They had the ball back, the momentum and were in full control. I am proud of the defense for stopping the drive and only allowing a field goal, but we just couldn't make it happen on offense. After that it was Oregon staying on the field for long periods of time and us trying to catch up. We tried to get Oregon out of their comfort zone, but it backfired on us.
