nothing wrong with 352..its a legit formation and teams use it in real life (juventus sometimes..and any team coached by bielsa)...extreme formations are ones that are unrealistic like 6-0-4

A good defensive game between Spartak Moscow and Stoke City will likely be overshadowed by a card happy referee, who booked Stoke's Ryan Shawcross twice in a 3 minute span to take Stoke City down to 10 minute during a comeback attempt. The first card came following an advantage, and was eventually shown after Ari put Spartak up 1-0 off of a rebound volley. Three minutes later, Shawcross stepped into another tackle, and was harshly awarded a second yellow despite what most would consider a pretty light foul. The harsh decision left Stoke with 10 men and a one goal deficit, which they nearly overcame sneaking a couple shots just wide of the goal. But it was Ari once again who shut the door, putting in his second goal in the 90th minute to clinch victory for Spartak.
Good game bigox1337 , that really was the harshest card I've seen in a TSO game, but good luck moving forward.

    Match Recap:
Penalties rule the day in snowy Germany as Hoffenheim and Koln battle to a draw. A foul in the box by TSG defender M. Compper just before halftime put L. Podolski at the spot, and he mad no mistake about burying the goal to put the visitors up at halftime. For long periods of the second half, the teams were deadlocked in midfield, but Hoffenheim began asserting themselves late on, and were rewarded with a penalty that S. Salihovic took well to level the score. The home side had two glorious chances to take the lead late, but Koln keeper M. Rensing denied them 3 points.

    Match Summary:
An end-to-end affair ends in favor of TSG Hoffenheim, who claim their first win of the season away to B. M'gladbach, 4-3. The home side got out to a fast start, combining for a beautiful opener by M. Reus, and doubling the lead through I. de Camargo. Hoffenheim pulled one back just before halftime, then proceeded to score 3 goals in succession to go up 4-2. Hoffenheim GK T. Starke turned in the moment of the game, saving a penalty to preserve the 2-goal lead. Moments after the save, M'gladbach got a goal from a nice header to bring the defect to 1, but the visiting side held on for all three points.

gg Cimmy24 , your first and last goals were beautiful...this is a good team.

    MOTM: A. Dikan 7.6 Rating
In a matchup that historically has been rather low scoring between these two managers, Stade Rennes and Spartak Moscow put on a bit of an offensive show back and forth all night. Spartak struck first in just the 10th minute as McGeady hit the post, but Welliton was there to tuck home the rebound. Just after halftime, however, Stade Rennes struck back with a curler from range from Montano. Spartak would retake the lead 20 minutes later as Suchy was able to pick up his first of the season heading home a corner. Montano was there once again for Rennes though, equalizing once again in the 76th minute, but Spartak had the last goal, as a strong run from Welliton put him in position to send in a cross to Emmanuel Eminike, who finished on the volley to give Spartak the 3-2 win.

A truly stunning ending at the Borussia Park. Lukas Podolski opened the game with a glorious strike for Köln to the top right corner, however, Gladbach would control play from that moment on. de Camargo's goal in the 38th brought them level, and the Borussia men largely held the ball and kept Michael Rensing and company scurrying for the remainder. In the 90th, Gladbach won a corner which was caught by Rensing on a dive. Sensing the waning moments of the game, he immediately got up and booted the ball downfield, hoping to take advantage of Podolski's speed. Sure enough, the ball landed beyond the three defenders and Podolski, and the Polish-born former Bayern man was the first one to it, springing a mini breakaway which he put away calmly. A truly ridiculous and likely unjust ending for Gladbach. All you need to know: Michael Rensing earned an assist on the play.

In a match largely marred by misses, it was S4 Serie B goal scoring champion Milivoje Novakovic who came through for the German side, tapping in a rebound of a Lukas Podolski strike from distance. Podolski had a match-high nine shots in the contest, but it was the other half of the Köln two-headed monster who would come through, sending his side through to victory. Another fine performance from Michael Rensing, who earns his second clean sheet of the campaign, however Fiorentina GK Boruc earned MOTM awards for his work between the Italian side's pipes.

CSKA vs Rennes was played last night. HokieNYC needs to post the stats since he was the home team. Well there won't be specific stats since there was a disconnect but the score, goals, assists, etc is what should be posted

CxMacx10 I sent you a PSN request a week or so ago, add me when you have a chance so we can get the game played

Our game week just started and I had 3 games to catch up on from the first set so I put priority on getting those done first. I didn't even see any posts for this 2nd week yet and I didn't realize you were only available the first day of the advance. I'll see you when you get back then

NO STATS AS GAME DISCONNECTED IN TE 80TH minutes. 10 MIN REPLAY ADDED ON.
Rennes drops two points as they give up an equalizer in the dying minutes against power house visitors. A fortuitous bounce gave the home side a gift of a goal as the cross hits the cross bar and bounces in from of Hadji for the opening goal. Moscow equalizes but the home side answers quickly with a header. Leading 2-1 with less than ten minutes left to play, a power outage forced a 10 minute replay. Rennes were unable to stop Doumbia from equalizing and both teams walk away with a point.

    Match Summary:
TSG Hoffenheim continued their fine run of form with a 2-0 victory away to Fiorentina. The home side's 5-man back line proved to be difficult to break down, and they held out well for most of the match. The breakthrough came in the 42' when La Viola defender C. Natali pulled down Roberto Firmino in the box to force the referee to call a penalty. S. Salihovic buried the shot to put the visiting team up 1-0 at the break. The second half began much like the first, with Hoffenheim holding the vast majority of possession, while Fiorentina looked to counter. The home side had some good chances, but failed to put their shots on target. In the end, it was another set piece that did Fiorentina in, as a clearance from a corner kick fell right into the path of R. Babel, who smashed home a 28-yd shot to give his team the 3 points.

gg StevenRhysCann , if not for the set pieces, would have been a draw, that 5-man back line is tough.
