ALL DAY BABY!HB Adrian Peterson leads the Carolina Panthers to victory, 45-3 QB Cam Newton all smiles while sitting on the bench in the 4th quarter
What a way to start out the 2015 campaign. The Panthers were able to dominate both sides of the ball, and get the backups some playing time in this rout of the Philadelphia Eagles. New addition Adrian Peterson was able to score 4 times on the ground, and MLB AJ Dansby would add a pick six in the 4th quarter. Offensively behind the great mix of pass and run, the Panthers were able to put up points quickly in the 2nd quarter. This would all but seal the game the way the defense was playing. With 33 seconds to go in the half, Newton would lay a bomb inside the hands of WR Ramses Barden. Inititally ruled incomplete, the play was sent up to the booth for review. After the ruling, the play was overturned. Barden somehow got his feet in bounds! (I wish I coulda grabbed the replay). The Panthers would come out in the second half and continue the dominance.
Next up for the Panthers is the Ravens and coach Cp
Cam - 12/17 228 yards 1 Td
Peterson - 20 carries 141 yards 4 TDs
Dario Dickerson - 6 TKLS, 1 FF

Broncos Crush Dolphins in Season Opener 48-7Denver, CO
Miami could never really get anything going in this game and they could not stop the Broncos offense. The telling stat in this game was 1st downs, the Dolphins had a total of 6 first downs in this game, which equaled the amount of TD's the Broncos offense scored, and the Broncos had 21 first downs. Rookie Brenden Evans was impressive in his first game in the League throwing for 317 yards 2 TD's and 0 INT's on 19/25. Knowshon Moreno was the player of the game as he carried the ball 24 times for 178 yards and 3 TD's and added 3 catches for 28 yards and another TD. New acquisition Steve Smith had a good day as well for the Broncos with 5 catches for 81 yards and a TD. Pretty much everything seemed to go the Broncos way in this game in a strong season opening performance, and they are now 1-0 and will host the Chargers next week.
Rams Start Title Defense With Solid WinBeat Chargers 30-0 San Diego, California The Rams were able to use a strong 1st half from the offense and a great 2nd half showing by the defense to come away with the away win to start the season. The offense were able to go into halftime with a 21-0 lead as Sam Bradford would throw for all 3 TDs, 2 for TE Jacob Tamme and one to WR Danario Alexander. The defense, who had a solid showing in the 1st half, really forced the issue in the 2nd. All 3 Tebow picks were thrown in the 2nd half and Geno Hayes was also able to force a fumble, which was recovered by the Chargers. Even though the team won this week the running game is a real cause for concern. The offensive line wasn't able to do much against the Chargers front 7, and when they were able to get a push, rookie HB Hammond wasn't able to do much with it. The coaching staff have already come out and named 3rd year man Najee Bujari as the starter for next week's Missouri showdown against the Chiefs. Look for Hammond to still get some touches in that game as the offense tries to create some kind of running game to ease the pressure off of Bradford. GG NeuroticTruth
Welcome To The NorthVikings take care of Packers, 27-3. The Minnesota Vikings traveled to Lambeau Field to face the Green Bay Packers in Week 1. This time, it was a much different atmosphere. The Packers brought in a new coach to try to turn things around in "Title Town". Well, today he was baptized by the 2 time NFC North champs, the Minnesota Vikings. The Packers got the ball first but quickly turned it over the Purple and Gold. Inside about the 10 yard line, Ponder tried to hit Shady McCoy on a flats pass but it was picked off by Desmond Bishop. The Packers then returned the favor yet again but this time Christian would float the ball over the cornerback and into the hands of Jaden Thomas for a 7-0 lead. The Packers would answer with a field goal. Christian Ponder would lead the team down again into the Packer's red zone. This time he found Jordy Nelson(ex-Packer recevier) for a 14-3 lead. That would pretty much be it as the Vikings went on a 13-0 run to end the game including a put away score by the newly acquired Shady McCoy as he scored from 8 yards out to seal the deal. I was very impressed by our team's performance today. The moves that I have made, have totally paid off. LeSean McCoy went for 132 yards on 19 carries with a touchdown. Defensively, we have totally retooled since I first took over at the start of HK. The newest addition, Patreon Frederick had a hell of a game with 5 tackles, 1 sack that forced a huge fumble which totally put the game in our hands. Rookie Jamarkus Clay got some good playing time and came away with 3 tackles. Prince Justice and Larry Keoodoum came home with 2 interceptions a piece. Lastly, James Anderson who we received from Carolina, made a nice strip which gave us great field position.
Wow.. look at all these blowouts.
There were some tight games, no summaries tho
The Green Bay GazettePackers Get Beat at Home by Vikes, Lose 27-3
Jaden Thomas catches a 26 yard TD pass from Christian Ponder Green Bay, WI-
"This was probably the worst football game I have ever coached" Coach Wayers said after the game, "I didn't have the team ready to play at all, I give all the props to the Vikings for taking advantage of that". Offensively the Packers couldn't do anything without throwing an interception or when they did get going a fumble killed the drive. "I was making bad reads and then bad throws, when you combine the two your going to have a bad game", Rodgers said after the game. Aaron Rodgers finished the game with 6 interceptions, a career high. "Well we are going to go back to the tape and see what we can fix and get ready for our next game", Coach Wayers said.
DMAC, BROWNS RUN OVER THE JAGS JACKSONVILLE, FL -- If Darren McFadden's first run is any indication of how his season will go, Browns fans may be a little more willing to accept the large price that they paid to get him. On his first carry as a Cleveland Brown, DMAC ran over two Jaguars defenders on his way to a 83 yard touchdown run to get the Browns off to an early 7-0 lead. From there, the Browns secondary would control this game by holding Blaine Gabbert to only 74 yards passing on just 5/16 passing. The one big question mark for the Browns is how second year QB Jason McGrath would fair replacing Tony Romo. He would do just enough throwing for 219 yards and 1 td but was just 12-25 passing. He will have to improve his accuracy if the Browns are to truly be considered a contender.

Steelers Win a ThrillerThis victory for the Steelers was hard fought. They were aided by five interceptions by quarterback Matt Ryan. The first score of the game would come off of one of those five interceptions as the Steelers would get a field goal to put themselves up by 3. After that it would be all Patriots in the first half. Their first score would be on an interception by Devin McCourty which went for 85 yards to make it 7-3 New England. Later in the second quarter Matt Ryan would find Barksdale for a 57 yard touchdown pass. The Patriots would get their final score of the game nearing the end of the second quarter as Ryan would find Jones for a 33 yard touchdown pass to make the deficit for the Steelers 17 points. The only score in the third quarter would be on a 19 yard field goal by the Steelers to for them a little closer. In the final frame the Steelers would mount a huge comeback. The comeback was started on a touchdown pass from Ben Roethlisberger to Emmanuel Sanders from 12 yards to cut the lead to 8. The Steelers would get the ball back and take a chance by kicking a field goal with 1:38 left in the game. On the ensuing kickoff Pittsburgh would recover the onside kick. Ben Roethlisberger would drive them down the field. The drive would be finished on a 2 yard Green-Ellis touchdown run. The Steelers would attempt the two-point conversion and make it. This would make the score 24-21 Steelers. Matt Ryan would drive the Patriots all the way down to the Pittsburgh 11 yard line with 12 seconds left in the game but they would decide to not go for the field goal and go for a touchdown. The Steelers would intercept the pass and that would be that end of the comeback. Good game HAL9100 and good luck rest of the year.
Pittsburgh Steelers 24
New England Patriots 21
