CAM-ing it UP!QB Newton throws for over 400 yards in the win Newton has a HK career day The fans in Charlotte can both exhale and rejoice after this game today. What looked to be a defensive game through 3 quarters, turned into an offensive shootout by the end of the game. Midway through the 4th quarter the fireworks would erupt when Adrian Peterson took the rock to the house on a 70 yard run. This would put the Panthers up 21-17 with 4:05 to go. On the very next offensive possession the Ravens were able to hit Hakeen Nicks on a 79 yard pass to put the Ravens back up. Fortunately there was still 3 mins to go. Rookie Derek Turner would tie the game at 24 with less than a minute to go..
The Ravens put together a 1 play 80 yard TD to Leonard Hankerson, to all but seal the game..
Unless you have CAM!
QB Cam Newton was able to put together some big time passes, and get his team inside the 20. Rushing to the line, Cam got everyone lined up and snapped the ball for what would be the last offensive play of the game. A TD Strike to a diving Danny Amendola for 17 yards to tie the game up. A laser beam of a pass was the only way the ball would get to Amendola, and Cam delivered it as the crowd erupted. The Panthers would win the coin toss and utilize Peterson on the game winning drive. Adrian would break free for 37 yards and the game winning score in Overtime, 37-31 Carolina.

This week it was all about Defense for the Indianapolis Colts as Giants gave a Rex Ryan promise or guarantee this week against the doormat of HK. Are we still a doormat only time will tell on that one but this week we were far from that as the Colts would take down the Giants 40-21. 2 of the Giants scores were on pick 6s and the Colts held the Giants to 174yds total offense and 35 of those were on the ground. Boals for the Giants was 10-28 160yds 5ints this week as the colts defense played great defense. Corey Mays was held down big time this week with 7 rushes for -3 yds. Colts offense has some signs but has to learn to quit with the turnovers. 2 ints this week by Anderson who was 15-23 200yds 1td 2ints and those 2 ints were returned to the house for 14 points. New hb Ingram was 23rushes 135yds 2tds this week. Colts used 6 different guys to catch a pass this week and 5 of them had at least 2 receptions. On a oline that is starting 2 rookies Anderson had time most of the game and only 1 sack was given up by the oline which is alot better than last season. Defensively DT Eric Lloyd was annoying all game as he had 3tack 2sacks but was in the backfield all game long. DRC would have 2 tackles 3ints 1 returned for 6. He had 3 of the 5 thrown this week and 3rd rd rookie had himself one from the OLB position and Bethea would add one as well. Are the Colts good idk could of been just a one game fluke but at this point in my hk career a win is a win. will add videos later tonight after father son time.
Laugh out LOUD!

Rams Get W in Intrastate RivalryBeat Chiefs 30-7 St Louis, Missouri The Rams were able to beat the Chiefs in their week 2 showdown thanks to a strong 1st half from the offense, who were able to score on 3 straight possessions. First, Bradford would hit Mintlow for a 8 yard TD as the Rams got the 7-0 lead after 1 quarter of play. The second half was more of the same as a 9 yard Bujari run and a 4 yard pass to Tamme by Bradford gave the Rams a 21-0 lead at the half. The 3rd quarter was a quiet one, with a safety being the only score of the quarter. The Rams would add to their lead in the 4th as HB Smith would take it in from 9 yards out to give the team a 30-0 lead. The Chiefs, however, were able to get a score at the end of the game with Stanzi finding Breaston near the back-pylon of the endzone, and somehow Breaston was able to get both feet in. The Chiefs were unable to recover the onside kick, as the Rams came out in the victory formation to end the game. GG thegman2.0 best of luck rest of the season!

EVERY DAY A STAR IS BORN HE AINT CARRYING NO ONE'S STUFF ANYMORE 31-28 win in D.C. Ryan Williams proved that the Cardinals don't have to be all about Manning to Fitzgerald. In a tight game vs the Redskins he proved to break off big TD runs when his team was down in the 4th. On the day he would have 154 yards and 3 TD's for the second consecutive week. The Redskins QB Mark Sanchez played sporadically he threw 4 interceptions but also threw 2 or 3 nice TD passes. Jamal Buchanon the Cards second year corner had an interception but was beaten often on the day. The Million Dollar Man had another interception and the Redskins avoided him like the plague. Kam Wimbley also added an early interception. However, the play of the game was Dime corner Chris Gamble picking off a HB screen and cribbing it with under a minute left to extend the lead to 31-21. The Redskins would beat Buchanon for a TD but the Cards recovered the onside kick with 9 ticks and kneeled it out. Manning struggled and threw 2 picks (1 my fault and 1 a floater as he got hit). However he hit clutch throws to set up the field for Williams TD's in the 4th. Fitzgerald had 99 yards receiving and second year TE had a huge day as the skins went heavy with the cover 3 in this one.
FINALLY! Falcons beat Saints for 1st time in over a year ATL 30 - NO 27 First year starter Cejay Kennedy improved upon his first NFL start last week to give the Falcons enough spark to win. GG DerekC
Patriots' Defense And Special Teams Step Up In Green BayBeat Packers 26-20
Last week, the Patriots jumped out to a 21-3 lead over the Steelers only to blow it in the 2nd half. This week, the Patriots again jumped out to an early lead and it started with taking their opening possession down the field before being forced to kick a FG. The Packers offense was struggling a lot early in this game. James Starks could never get going and Aaron Rodgers was missing open receivers. So after a 3-n-out, the Patriots would also struggle on their next possession and punt it back. This is when Juliaus Pendleton would make his first significant mark on the season. He was criticized for not making enough of an impact against Pittsburgh and he wanted to correct that in this game. Pendleton would sack Rodgers, force a fumble, and then DE Chris Long would pick it up and return it for a TD and a 10-0 lead. In the 2nd quarter, the Packers would get all the way down inside of the Patriots 5 yard line but were unable to punch it in behind a couple rushing attempts. They would kick a FG to make it 10-3. The 2 teams would trade possessions for most of the 2nd quarter but eventually the Patriots would pin the Packers inside their 5 yard line behind a nice punt. The Packers would run a screen play to start the drive but it didn't work and DE Jermaine Cunningham would sack Rodgers in the endzone for a safety. The Patriots would lead 12-3 at halftime. The Packers opened the 2nd half with a solid drive for a FG to close it to a 1 score game at 12-6. The Patriots' offense had begun to struggle and RB Harrison Anthony was not finding much room. However, on a 3rd and medium, Matt Ryan noticed a mismatch with a LB covering WR Desmond Seastrunk. Then with a lack of safety coverage in the middle of the field, Ryan was able to make a great pass to Seastrunk who would take it 77 yards for a TD and a 19-6 lead. Then on the kickoff, backup FS Kirce would nail the returner, force a fumble, and WR Booker would return it for another TD and a 26-6 lead. The Packers weren't done yet. Rodgers would start to find his groove and their defense would start to get some turnovers. This led to 2 quick TD scores to make it 26-20. The Patriots defense and Harrison Anthony would pick up the slack in the 4th quarter and hold on for the victory. Also of note, rookie SS Brendan Murray has led the Patriots in tackles in both of their games so far this season.
Minnesota Is Heating UpVikings move to 2-0 with 24-21 win over the Lions. The Vikings took on NFC North rival, the Detroit Lions today. Coming off a huge win over the North's newly added Green Bay Packer's Coach Wayers50, Coach CA was feeling good. That all got thrown down the drain when Wes Welker caught a bullet on a PA pass from Marquiste Culliver for a 79 yard TD. The Vikings not to be outdone, would put on a 17-0 run in which Chris Ivory and LeSean McCoy both scored rushing touchdowns and Shayne Graham notched a field goal. Titus Young would get the Lions back into the game with Culliver's 2nd touchdown pass of the game to make it 17-14. Matt Forte would punch one in from 1 yard out to give the Lions their 1st lead since the 1st score of the game. The Vikings however, would put together a great drive and Chris Ivory would score from 12 yards out. The Vikings defense held strong on a 4th and inches and the offense was able to run the clock out. LeSean McCoy continued his dominance of the NFC North's defenses with 174 yards rushing and 1 score. He also caught 3 balls for 41 yards but fumbled twice. That really put a damper on his performance today as one was inside the red zone trying to set up a field goal. Chris Ivory put in work today with 2 touchdowns, 39 yards rushing to spell Shady. Defensively, we played pretty good. LaQuon Keooudom grabbed 2 interceptions and rookie Jamarkus Clay got his 1st career pick.
Broncos Defeat Chargers in OT
The Broncos and Chargers had a classic AFC West battle in this one, and Tim Tebow returned to Denver. The Chargers and Broncos took a while to get going as each team was feeling the other out. The first score came in the 2nd quarter as Tebow hit Donaldson, also an ex-Bronco, on a screen pass and he took it the distance for a 52 yard TD catch. On the Broncos next possession, they worked the ball down field, and eventually gave it to Moreno for his first of 3 TD's on the day to tie it back up. The Broncos and Chargers exchanged rushing TD's before halftime, and it was 14-14 at the half.
The Broncos got the ball at the half, and it did not take them long to break the tie as Moreno took a draw 86 yards for a TD to put them up 7. That was the only score in the 3rd quarter, and it was Broncos 21, Chargers 14 heading into the 4th. The Broncos stretched their lead to 14 as rookie Brenden Evans hit Steve Smith for a 6 yard TD pass with just under 7 minutes left in the game. On the Chargers next drive, Tebow took the snap and burst through the line and ran away from everyone for a 50 yard TD to bring them within 7. On the Broncos next drive, they took quite a bit of time off the clock and worked their way into Chargers territory, but Moreno took the handoff and fumbled, and the Chargers recovered, keeping them in this game. Tebow drove the Chargers down field, hitting most of his passes until he found Early Doucet from 4 yards out with 12 seconds left on the clock. With 15 mph wind in their favor, the Broncos tried to get to around the 50 to give Prater a shot, but Eddie Royal caught the pass and fumbled around the 45, and the Chargers recovered. The Chargers would kneel and we would head to OT. In OT, the Broncos won the toss, and Evans hit Thomas for a 44 yard gain to put them in FG range. Moreno ran the ball a couple more times to get them a little closer, then Prater hit a 30 yard FG to give the Broncos the victory and move them 2 games ahead in the division.
B. Evans (DEN) - 17/24 for 243 yards 1 TD passing
K. Moreno (DEN) - 24 carries for 236 yards 3 TD's
T. Tebow (SD) - 15/20 for 197 yards 2 TD's and 7 carries for 81 yards 2 TD's
